Broke down in a new car. Called Chrysler for their towing servive, as I have extended warranty. They tow to the nearest dealer. My car was just worked on the week before where I purchaes it. However since th servive, as I have extended warranty. They tow to the nearest dealer. My car was just worked on the week before where I purchaes it. However since this radius was 11 miles further it would cost me out of pocket to tow there. I got David Dodge. Matthew, would not set up a rental service and also advised me I would have to find a ride there and then they would get the rental company to get me a rental if I had coverage. I informed him that I did and it was set up already thru Country Chrysler in Oxford. But Chrysler would not tow the extra 10 miles, due to the fact that they were closer. He asked me what was wrong with my car. I told him the radiator was leaking. He asked if it was drivable. I told him I didn't think that I should drive it due to the fact that it leaked a significant amount of coolant. His responce to me was " Chrysler has to fix the vehicle if it is under warranty, and if I wanted, I could drive to the dealership where I wanted the work done." WONDER IF CHRYSLER KNEW HE WAS WILLING TO COST THEM SEVERAL THOUSAND AS OPPOSED TO REPLACING THE RADIATOR." aND i WILL NEVER BE STRANDED AND HAVE TO FIND A RIDE TO THE RENTAL PLACE AGAIN..... ALL BECAUSE THEY DON'T WANT TO BE BOTHERED WITH WARRANTY WORK" More
i went to David Stanley dodge store, as the last stop to look at purchasing a new vehicle. I truely didnt think it would be possible due to other dealerships stating they couldnt help me. Now its not that i look at purchasing a new vehicle. I truely didnt think it would be possible due to other dealerships stating they couldnt help me. Now its not that i have bad credit or something, its just i have a special situation with my current vehicle and it would take some creative people to make a sale happen. Sam Kirksey was awesome, helped me the whole time as well as his sales managers. Finance person was great as well. Found a great deal on a 2013 Dodge Avenger, and the rest is history. More
I couldn't have asked for a better experience in buying a vehicle at David Dodge. I was looking at buying or ordering a new Jeep Wrangler. I had been at other Jeep dealerships in the Wilmington,DE area to lo vehicle at David Dodge. I was looking at buying or ordering a new Jeep Wrangler. I had been at other Jeep dealerships in the Wilmington,DE area to look at pricing. Out of all the salesmen I talked to, Jerry DiStefano was the best and most respectful. This was my first new car buying experience but I had done a lot of research on the Wrangler. Jerry was not pushy, understood what I wanted, and had quite a bit of knowledge on the Wrangler. He also understood that I knew the product pretty well and did not try to trick me. Jerry and the dealership were very willing to negotiate pricing with me, unlike every other dealership I went to. In the end, I ended up ordering a Wrangler. It was delivered to the dealership within a month. And I got what I think was a great price! Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my experience at David Dodge, and will absolutely recommend Jerry to anyone that is looking for a Jeep, Dodge, or Chrysler! More

This is the classic auto horror story. I went in needing a simple alignment and new brake pads and clipped rotors. They call me back with a laundry list of items (I just got my car inspected 4 months ago an a simple alignment and new brake pads and clipped rotors. They call me back with a laundry list of items (I just got my car inspected 4 months ago and it was fine). Supposedly I needed all this work done. I declined their suggestions politely and just told them to do the previously stated work. I get the car back and now there is a grinding noise coming from the front right tire. This noise NEVER happened before I dropped the car off. I had a bad experience with them a few years ago and thought I'd give them another chance. Boy was I wrong! DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE THROWING YOUR TIME, MONEY, AND SAFETY OUT THE DOOR!!!!! More

My sales associate Pat Kelly was great, knowledgeable and helped me every which way that he could. He explained to me all the rebates that David Dodge was offering. I finally picked out a jeep liberty.Pat showed me how to work everything in my jeep. The owner David himself came out and greeted me and congratulated me on my new purchase. The finance team of Bill and Matt helped me through the process to under stand everything. I got a excellent deal on my jeep. Bought a 2010 jeep. Brought back for service the following week. None of the issue I brought it in for were fixed (brakes & suspension, water in light, bad wiper blades to name a few). I was told ev following week. None of the issue I brought it in for were fixed (brakes & suspension, water in light, bad wiper blades to name a few). I was told everything was fine. I again brought it back the next month with the same issues and was again told everything was fine. I took my jeep to a dealership (RT 18 Jeep) that recently open close to my home in New Jersey. Upon inspection they saw that the suspension was missing bolts which was causing the trouble with the suspension and the brakes. They installed absorber: suspension, 2 isolator springs, struts, shocks, etc. Rt 18 Jeep also replaced the light. Route 18 Jeep could not believe the danger the service department of David'sDodge Chrysler jeep put me in. It was obvious that they didn't even check the brakes or suspension. If they had they would have/should have (if they know what they are doing) seen right away there was clearly a problem and fixed it. More
My Wife and I were going down South Carolina and we had my '99 Jeep Cherokee looked at here. Car was in great running condition, only had a squeaky belt. On our FIRST visit they changed the oil, put in a n my '99 Jeep Cherokee looked at here. Car was in great running condition, only had a squeaky belt. On our FIRST visit they changed the oil, put in a new belt, rotated tires, and after they said the U joints were going to be causing us problems had them replaced. $853.97 Figuring all was okay and the Jeep was ready for the trip we left. We didn’t even make it to the distance of the dealership before the check engine light came on. SECOND visit. They said we needed a new alternator. $743.36. We again started our trip, two days late, and before we went 50 miles AGAIN the check engine light came on. Having the same symptoms exactly as the last time we went to David's, we went to another Chrysler 5 star maintenance dealership. After another two day wait I was told it was the power train modulator (PCM) was broken. Was given an estimate of $1250. (after being told by both dealerships it would only take one day for each of their work to be done. The vehicle was not looked at until late the second day for each!) Having no choice but to return home we did so. Taking the Jeep back to David’s for the same reason it was had it there for our second visit. At this point we had spent $1597.33 on having the car looked at at David’s. After taking it in with nothing wrong but a squeaky belt, they put in a new alternator in for no reason (since it was the PCM that was the real problem) and then having David’s quote me $1085 for the new PCM and install. They refused to help us by lowering they cost since we bought a new alternator that wasn’t needed. They did not check their work to see if the alternator was the real problem and refused to accept any fault for this horrible experience. Repeated calls to Dawn went unreturn and were constantly told told she was unavailable. All I wanted was my car to go to South Carolina and back with no problems, but my problems started at David‘s. My experience at David Dodge was nothing less than exceptional. I had been there with my husband to finalize his new car purchase and was so impressed with their staff, amount of cars on the lot, and exceptional. I had been there with my husband to finalize his new car purchase and was so impressed with their staff, amount of cars on the lot, and prices that I ended up trading my car too. I typically do not make any purchases without plenty of research and consideration, but after watching how pleasant, honest, and easy my husband’s purchase went I would have been a fool not to. I have never had a smoother process when buying a car as I had at David thanks to Mike McVeigh and the rest of the wonderful staff. Thanks guys! More
