We made an appointment to view a vehicle, and we arrived on-time after verifying with a sales rep that we would be coming. Upon arrival it took them the better part of 20 minutes to find the vehicle we had on-time after verifying with a sales rep that we would be coming. Upon arrival it took them the better part of 20 minutes to find the vehicle we had scheduled for a test drive. The sales rep we originally spoke with was unavailable (which I completely understand) and we were passed on to someone else. I was extremely disappointed with the sales rep we were assigned. My wife and I did not end up purchasing. The salesperson we worked with, had no knowledge of the vehicle, failed to understand some of the basic packages and standard offerings and was not aware of the most recent lease offering. The numbers (as far as price and payment were concerned) were inaccurate and each time we asked a question that he did not know the answer to he had to run off and find the answer which took additional time. I did not name the sales rep because he indicated that he was very new to Cadillac sales. I don't think it's fair that he should be impacted. From my perspective, through this experience, it seems that the owners of this dealership place no value in training and preparing their employees which is particulary egregious as Cadillac attempts to overcome the stigma associated with poor customer service and uncompetitive products. Cadillac makes a great product; its time for the quality of the dealerships to reflect that product. More
By far this is the best Cadillac dealership in Ohio. I have purchased and leased many new Cadillacs from Ted Davis and I feel that he is the hardest working and most honest man in the business. I recentyl purchaced a new 9-5 Saab. They now tell me that they will not honor the warrenty even though I specifically asked if the warrenty would be valid if Saab filed for bankruptcy. I specifically wa that they will not honor the warrenty even though I specifically asked if the warrenty would be valid if Saab filed for bankruptcy. I specifically was assured that the dealership would honor the contract warrenty. Thy said that there was a disclaimer on the contract and they are not legally bound to honor our agreement. Do not believe anything these people tell you. It is all smoke and mirrors. Once they have your money you are of no more use to them. I do not know how they remain in business. More

Mack Gilchrist is one of the few sales persons I made calls and talked to. Mack was very polite, sincere and professional. He does not have any problem in dealing with me as a decent gentleman, because he is one. Even after the sales is over, Mack made a courtesy call two days after the sales is over. I had to talk to the sales manager Frank White; his composure is great; he answers all my questions very patiently, even though I talked to him on a very busy day. Dean is the finance manager, who did a great job in dealing with the payment of the vehicle. It is my first time buying an used vehicle from a dealer. We drove more than five hours, from Kalamazoo, MI to Akron, OH to buy this vehicle. Thanks to all these people, and the Dave Towell dealership for the way they handled this sales, and made it a pleasant experience to encourage us to come there again to buy more vehicles, and recommend to our friends. Absolutely the best used car buying experience I have ever had! Took my car in for a power steering pump failure, they soaked me $650 for a rear brake job that was not urgent, broke a power steering hose, then took 3 days to fix, had to return the car for 2 more days soaked me $650 for a rear brake job that was not urgent, broke a power steering hose, then took 3 days to fix, had to return the car for 2 more days to get the belts replaced (not in stock) then had to have it towed again because the rear brake was leaking. Now the alternator needs replacing - another two days (not in stock!, and the fan belts need replacing again because the timing belt cover is leaking oil. Tell me why my next car should be a Cadillac?? More

I purchased a car from this dealer about 2 years ago. There were problems with the transmission. They went to the manufacturer and found recalls. They were as good as you would hope for in a dealership. You can trust these guys! More
Blew me off. Basically refused to work on my car that is under warranty. Bought a car 2 days ago from a dealer about an hour away.
