Once there, I was introduced to James who helped with the test drive and finishing out the sale. Great Deal and Good People I recently discovered Dave Smith motors based on a recommendation from my credit union. I had been in the market looking for a new vehicle for about I recently discovered Dave Smith motors based on a recommendation from my credit union. I had been in the market looking for a new vehicle for about two months. During this time, I could not find a dealer that could meet my needs from a financial perspective (I was upside down on my trade-in). Due to the wholesale nature of how DSM operates, they were able to get me the vehicle I wanted, take my vehicle in for trade and get me the payments I wanted. They gave be a great deal on the new truck, gave me more that any other dealer on my trade-in truck and got me a lower interest rate than what I was able to secure myself. To accomplish this, I was able to negotiate the whole deal by phone as I live in the South Sound area and they are in Idaho. Since I knew what I wanted, they found me the vehicle that met my needs and took great care of me from there. It took me 24 hours to "close" the deal over the phone. Whereas, the local dealers would drag me out for days and never be able to make me a deal. If you are in the market for a new Chevy, GMC, Buick, Cadillac, Dodge Ram or Chrysler, I would highly recommend calling Dave Smith.
