Kirk Automotive was recommended by my insurance carrier and since the truck was purchased from Kirk, it only seemed logical to have their body shop handle the repairs to the two drivers side doors. After their third attempt to make the repairs, they finally got the two doors straight. No more dents or wrinkles. Problem now is the doors no longer match the rest of the truck color. The painter and the body shop foreman both agree the color does not match and the cause is there are too many coats of base and intermediate color on the doors. Well duh, if the doors would have been straightened correctly the first time, maybe the color would match. Now their solution is to repaint the two drivers side fenders in an attempt to "blend" the paint. More

They were good about explaining what’s good or bad. My only issue is that when there’s work to be done on your vehicles ??. They need to PRINT THE ESTIMATE out by computer ?? A very nice lady and her son helped us get my car off the road and got us a tow truck. We were towed into Dave Kirk Chevrolet in Crossville around 2:15. We met up with Jace Cowell there and couldn't have been put in better hands. Mr. Cowell explained everything succinctly and made the three of us feel as much at home as he could. Mr. Cowell kept in touch with us at every step to getting my car repaired and even followed up with me a few times to ensure we got home safely. He was awesome!! I'd like to also thank Richard for doing the work on my car, Charles Strayer for comping our lunch from The Beef and Barrel, the ladies in the office and LeeAnn (I think that's her name; sorry if I'm wrong) who was also working Saturday July 29, 2017 and helped us with all our stuff. She put 3 suitcases, 3 ice chests, several boxes and a bunch of other stuff in my rental that they had unloaded from my HHR. I've been home 3 1/2 weeks now and just learned of this website when I bought a new 2017 Chevy Trax from All American Chevrolet of Killeen on August 14th. (Love the Trax!) Just wanted to let everyone know I had a great experience with Jace Cowell and others at Dave Kirk Chevrolet under very trying circumstances. More

We asked for estimate including all charges and taxes and agreed to do business with them. When we picked the car up Scott claimed he had lost his notes and tried to charge us taxes on top of the estimate. A couple of years later the motor is making a knocking noise. I called Kim in service and she assured me the motor was under warranty and told me to bring the car in. I get there and Kim tells me she hears the knock but needs to verify that the motor is under warranty. The mechanic claimed he couldn't find anything wrong. They wanted me to pay $570 to tear the motor down and then decide whether or not they would honor the warranty. More

We stopped in the 1st times and discussed the issue with Zak, and the service manager in regards to work, warranty (which we didn't know about). Consequently we had planned to s et up an appointment. We stopped again (on short notice) and Zak gave us an appointment for late in the day. Upon completion of the work, troubleshooting, both Zak, Rick, and the service manager ? spent time with us going over their appraisal, and work done, and recommended work. No rush, no cause to hurry even though it was the eve of a long holiday week-end. In summary, excellent customer service, friendliness, approachable, and results. Customer service is the number one problem in US businesses today and its reassuring to see a company that employs such good people. More
Was told by Zack, service rep, that I could receive tire rotation and balance for $5.00. Several times I repeated this price back to him and he continued to state yes that that was the cost til it came tim rotation and balance for $5.00. Several times I repeated this price back to him and he continued to state yes that that was the cost til it came time to pay for it. It was actually $20+ for this service and Zack admitted that he did state this but I still was charged more than I was told. This isn't the first bad experience at this dealership. I can only hope that they aren't taking advantage of others. More
We just came back from a vacation to Crossville, Tennessee and while we were there our car broke down and we were only able to drive it less than a mile and ended up at the wrong dealership. We wal Tennessee and while we were there our car broke down and we were only able to drive it less than a mile and ended up at the wrong dealership. We walked down the street to the GM dealership (Dave Kirk Automotive) and explained our problem to them. The service center wasn't open for business on Saturday, in fact, it was being used by the Boy Scout for the homemade car derby, so we were not going to be able to get the car worked on until Monday. David Boles drove my husband back up to where we had left the car so that he could meet AAA as they were going to tow the car and also arranged for us to have a loaner to use until our car was fixed. Mr Boles is a car salesman and he didn't stand to make any money off of us because we weren't looking to buy or trade our car but he was so kind to us, gave me coffee to warm me up and then driving us back up the hill we had walked down in 30 degree weather to get to them. Monday morning we got a call from Scott Elmore, the service manager, and we had major transmission problems. We thought at first that we were under warranty but we were actually just out of warranty. You can't begin to imagine how upsetting that is when you are away from home with limited funds and you are having major car problems on a car with less than 60 thousand miles. Mr Elmore called our mechanic here in Florida at Dick Norris (Toby) and they arranged that the work on the car would be covered under the customer loyalty program. We ended up also having an oil sensor problem and a leak which was also fixed. Everyone at the dealership was so kind to us and went out of the way to make sure that our vacation was as upset free as it could be. I will never go anywhere with our car other than a GM dealership. We got calls from Toby (service manager at Dick Norris in Clearwater, Fl) making sure that everything was going well and Dave Kirk Automotive even called us on the trip home to make sure we were ok. I will never own anything other than a GM car and my husband and I will be loyal customers for the rest of our lives. We go up to Crossville twice a year and it is very comforting to know that if we have any car problems, we have an honest, helpful, kind, caring dealership right there in town that we can go to. More
