I was put in contact with Diana, who was very knowledgeable, helpful, and personable. She answered all of my questions, even questions I didn’t think to ask. I had been looking for an Ascent for a while and Diana met me where I was in the process. I was a little worried with getting things arranged from Huntsville that I would drive up and get screwed, but it worked out great. Diana had my Ascent ready and we were able to just sign the papers. When shopping for a car with my husband, other sales people, particularly male salesmen, would talk to my husband and not me, even though I was the one buying the car. I never had that issue here and enjoyed working with Diana through the whole process. Also really enjoyed working with the tech guy (forgot his name) who went over all the features on my car. He was so patient! More

Customer service isn't dead yet! I took my car to Darrell Waltrip Volvo for it's 30000 mile service. I was properly greeted and told my service rep, Josh, would be with me shortly, w I took my car to Darrell Waltrip Volvo for it's 30000 mile service. I was properly greeted and told my service rep, Josh, would be with me shortly, which he was. After completing the paperwork and me telling him of a problem with my windshield washer fluid, he quickly fixed the problem and indicated my car would be ready in 2 hours. It was discovered I needed an alignment which took a little longer but that was understandable. Another service rep, Lane, drove me to a nearby restaurant for breakfast and offered to come and pick me up. I declined and said I would walk back, but I appreciated his kindness. The total experience from start to finish was excellent. I hope both of these guys are there the next time I return. Larry Elliott More

Routine maintenance turned nightmare Took my car in to have timing belt replaced as part of routine maintenance. My friends discouraged me from taking car to dealership because they said Took my car in to have timing belt replaced as part of routine maintenance. My friends discouraged me from taking car to dealership because they said it would be overpriced (it was). I thought perhaps for a big project like a timing belt, it would be good to go to somebody who "knows subarus". When I picked up my car, I noticed the air conditioning seemed weak. By the the time I got to my destination in Nashville, I had no A/C, and there was some steam coming off my hood of my car, and something oily leaking out from my car. The guy at Subaru said "no big deal, you can just bring it back tomorrow." I guess that would be no big deal if I had nothing else to do, and I lived near the dealership, and my car was driveable. It was not. The car needed to be towed, and I am still not sure I actually heard the words, "I'm sorry" from the service people. Hopefully no serious damage done. Certainly not worth the extra hundreds of dollars that I paid to take my car to Darrell Waltrip Subaru. To quote T. Swift, I am NEVER EVER back again. More

I told them they said I could buy one they wouldn't admit to not placing back. They said they would put it in for free but when I got the part they told me $80 for 4 screws. Then when I took part home it was the wrong part so retuned it bought on Internet and did it myself. More

Service manager and GM wanted to charge me $750 to complete a repair fully covered by this warranty that is supposed to cover the part for 10 years or 120,000 miles. Will NEVER purchase another car from these people again. GM hung up on me. May have to pursue legally. More
