After spending hours at the dealership, feeling exhausted, they found a car more comfortably within my budget, an ‘08 Civic. All was well for about a year; Honda’s are known for their reliability, Civics especially, with room to tune and generally economical parts. Alas, my engine block cracked, leaked coolant, burnt all the oil off, and left my stock *plastic* dipstick charred and decimated. Surprised, I searched the internet to see if this was a common issue, and yes it was. All ‘06-‘08 along with some ‘09 Civics were issued TSB 10-048, wherein Honda would replace the engine, free of charge, and extended the standard warranty up to 10 years. Why this wasn’t done to this vehicle, I don’t know. However, here it was at a Honda dealership, hastily brought to me at the end of the business day. Had I known about this particular TSB, I likely wouldn’t have purchased this vehicle, and at the very least I would’ve bought the dealer’s assuredly absurd extended warranty. After more than a month of deliberation, they couldn’t do anything for me. Bottom line: don’t let this dealership leave you blindsided. Don’t think they have your best interest at hand. More

Bryan Lackee was amazing he went above and beyond even contacting and making arrangements for me on two of his days off!! I was initially so sad about trading my Jeep but he made the process painless and contacting and making arrangements for me on two of his days off!! Pandemic car purchase, Great results! When searching to buy a car at the beginning of May, it was a tough decisions, as there was very little known about the current state of the pandemic. When searching to buy a car at the beginning of May, it was a tough decisions, as there was very little known about the current state of the pandemic. Darlings was more than fantastic during the process in accommodating safety protocols. Test driving was great, and was safe and simple. Ryan, our sales person, facilitated all aspects of the sale, helped coordinate our paperwork electronically, and at the end of it all, Delivered the vehicle to our home. Hands down our best and easiest car purchase. More

I went into Darlings to look at new vehicles because I knew I would like to replace my Honda Civic. I loved my older civic and it was a wonderful car, but the time had come to replace it. Kathy Giddings was so helpful in prepping each car that I tried out and made me feel very at ease in the entire car buying process. I don't purchase new vehicles very often as they last when I buy quality. Honda is certainly that. Dave Noto and Kathy worked up the numbers for my budget and provided me a payment that worked for me. Kathy answered all of my many questions with patience and expertise. Bryan Lackee explained all of the paperwork clearly and made the whole process very smooth. In Service Brad Gonya and Mike Dumond have consistently provided me with accurate information and wonderful service on my vehicles. You have a team you can be proud of and I thank them all for their professionalism. More
