If you are thinking of buying a car anywhere in Maine, call Mary Ann first!!! She is wonderful, positive, flexible, and she really listens to what you want. It's like you hired someone to help you shop for a car with you, not make a sale to you. She could not have been more knowledgeable or helpful. My girlfriend and I were treated like royalty and could not be happier with our purchase of a 2009 Nissan Cube. We saw the financing as our biggest obstacle. Where others had been hard nosed and failed to help us and made the process seem like a chore the team at Darling's really made it seem, for lack of a better word, fun! They made it seem like a breeze and worked with us until we got exactly what we wanted for a price that was thousands less than what we had thought we would spend. Once again, if you are going to buy a car, call Mary Ann, I cannot say enough good things about her and her sales experience! I even called to thank her personally just 2 days ago because we love the car soooooo much. I hope she gets to see this review. When you buy a car at Darling's I know this sounds cliche and really hokey, but they make you feel like a friend, not a sale, and that's the first time I have encountered that in my life, no pressure at all. My experience with Darling's was so great. The car I was interested in was two and a half hours away. Maryann met me half way. I was treated very well. The deal was great. They even let me take the car home once we agreed to a price. This saved another trip. There was a misunderstanding in the transaction. The deal could have gone south, but "no" the dealer honored the sale. I would not hesitate to drive to Bangor to buy another car from Maryann/Darling's. Rick Ellis in the service department has been taking care of my Hondas for twenty-four years. The knowledgable sales staff is another reason for choosing Darling's Honda Nissan. Mary-Anne McDermott leased me my 2010 Civic Coupe today and I am very pleased with the way she "made it happen" for me. She is not only an incredible sales person but also someone who cares about her customers. Mary-Anne most importantly listened to me and understood what I needed for a vehicle. I took my car in for scheduled service last week, and asked if in addition to the service someone could check a leak and also check the ABS light. This guy quoted me a price of $200, just to look at the asked if in addition to the service someone could check a leak and also check the ABS light. This guy quoted me a price of $200, just to look at the leak (not fix it, just to look at it), and then another $140 to check the ABS light (again, just to put it up on the computer and see which sensor was bad). This guy must have really seen me coming. I called Harry's Honda in Presque Isle and they quoted me a price of $96 for the same diagnosis. Quite a difference. I will never take my car back to Darling's Honda. More

This dealership is horrible at service - misdiagnosed problems with both my 02 and 04 Accord EX-V6's. Dealer likes customers that only drop their car off and pay, no questions asked.
