March 26, 2017 We were the unfortunate owners of a VW Diesel that got caught up in the recen An endorsement for Darling’s Bangor Service Department. March 26, 2017 We were the unfortunate owners of a VW Diesel that got caught up in the recent flap with EPA over misrepresenting the performance of their Diesel emission system. We bought the car at Darlings in Bangor and were treated well by the sales Department. The car was a very good car, 50 miles per gal, comfortable, and none of the usual stink and smoke of a diesel. We had all the service done at Darlings and had very good service from them. The routine maintenance and two engine repairs were done promptly with no hassle at a fair price. When it came time to turn the car in for the Diesel Recall we were given outstanding help by Kim Cotta of the Darling’s Service Department. She guided us through the process, helped us to fill out the very complicated forms and submitted the forms to VW for us. Thanks to her we have our refund check while most folks are still struggling with the application. The people in the Darling Service Department care about their customers.
