STAY AWAY BE WARNED Although the buying process was pleasant, I had a miserable experience with this dealership overall. I purchased an 2010 Audi A4 with a little less than 50k miles in June 2013. As we all know, german cars tend to encounter issues after the factory warranty expires. Along the vehicle, I also got an extended warranty from them that covers engine, transmission and electronics. And the dealer told it can be cancelled anytime you want. THIS DEALER SELLS YOU PROBLEMATIC CARS. After driving it for 1 month, the car started to have problems in its engine which I didn’t expected that soon. By now, the car has been in the shop for more than 15 times. The shop I went to is an Audi dealer. They helped me use factory warranty to cover the biggest bill of those even when the car had 53000+ miles, which basically replaced half of the parts in the engine. After the repair, they asked me to run a 2000 mile break-in. THE EXTENDED WARRANTY THE DEALER SOLD DOESN’T DO xxxx. The first time I went to an Audi dealer to have my car checked, I got rejected by the extended warranty company claiming the part was not covered. I figured it might be something happened to not being covered. However, none of the following repairs were accepted by the extended warranty company. Even factory warranty was able to help me a bit when the car was actually out of it, the extended one that I paid $3700 did absolutely nothing but providing rejections. THE DEALER FOOLS AS IF YOU WERE AN IDIOT. I called up the dealer and ask for a full refund of the extended warranty in March of 2014. They refused to do that. Then I called Consumer Complains and Protection (CCP), and they were very concerned about my situation and wanted me to file a claim if I can’t work something out with the dealer. So I made very clearly to the dealership that I require a full refund on the extended warranty ($3690+ tax), otherwise I will file a claim with CCP. And I began to record every phone call with the dealer in the shadow. They suddenly becomes much nicer, and said: “Yeah. Whatever you paid will be refunded to you.” It was May, 2014. In the following 6 months, I emailed them every 2 or 3 weeks to check what was the status with the cancellation. They had so many excuses why the process was so slow, and even conflicting things in the replies in the email. But I was still patient and wanted to give them a chance to make it right. Finally, the process is complete on Nov 14th. And the dealer told me the refund is going to be only $702. They just eat their own word on your face. If you are going to do it, why do you agree in the first place! There are much more stupid things they did that I don’t even want to talk about. What a waste of my time and patience!! Now I am filing the claim and providing CCP all the phone call records and emails. At this point, I don’t care how much money I will get back. I want to let you guys know what you can expect from this dealer. The bottom line: THINK TWICE and BE CAREFUL, if you don’t want to get into trouble. More

Bait and Switch. A 2008 advertised as used - one owner, turned out to be a Demo - never titled - marked as "new" on the paperwork. The car was advertised online at one price, but upon coming to the showroo turned out to be a Demo - never titled - marked as "new" on the paperwork. The car was advertised online at one price, but upon coming to the showroom, the dealer/owner attempted to charge for options that were already on the car - and visible in the online ad. The dealership only honored the Internet price after we quoted sections of the NY Attorney General's Office Car Dealers Guidelines that addressed the illegal practices, consulted a lawyer friend, and threatened to contact Honda and file a report with the NY Office of Attorney General!! My husband actually left the dealership planning to wash his hands of the experience, called me to say he was getting cell calls from the dealership, and I called the dealership back and spoke with the the dealer/owner. The dealer/owner offered the car at the internet price, and offered an apology and said we would only be charged tax, title and registration fees. I called my husband back and he returned to the dealership. However, as a "service" to clients, the dealer/owner said he would take care of registering our car - we live in PA - it turns out the registration fee was almost 10X what my state charges - $350.00 as opposed to $36.00. When I contacted the PA DMV two days later, I was told that NY car dealers are not supposed to register PA cars. Whatever the salesman/owner did may actually slow the registration process - if he actually sent it in at all. We have no way of knowing until/if we receive the registration in the mail. Also, there was a standard part that was missing from the car, which the dealer/owner said was not in the car when he got it, and he refused to authorized a replacement purchase because he said the price we paid for the car was too low. Additionally my husband arrived at the dealership at 10:30 a.m., and did not leave until 6 p.m., the deal took over 5 hours to complete - and we have exemplary credit. I will be contacting Honda regarding this dealership and I the NY OAG. More
