I worked with Amy Wilkerson over in the Internet sales department. My mom and dad were in the market to buy a new explorer and she was always super accommodating and straight forward with us. I had already been looking at other cars as the escape alsi was a thirsty beast. Matthew not only took the time to really explain to me what was going on with my escape but also took the time for me to get a hold of my Husband and explain to him as well. I loved that Matthew said no pressure but that he could get me a member of the sales team if I wanted to talk to them, and although I thought it was a lost cause from previous days of car shopping I figured I would see if they could do anything. I was a huge challenge for Jared and somehow after a week of being told no, even from seedie little car lots, I managed to get a car, a car that works for what I need. Jared really took the time to listen and find out what those needs where and didn't even try to sell me on something that wouldn't meet them. This dealership is so transparent on everything that they can and will do that its refreshing. My Cmsx is perfect and I could not have asked for an easier buying experience Side Note for dog lovers: I have a special 4 yr old border collie that had to spend the day with me on the lot and every staff member was the kindest and sweetest person to her. They made sure she had water constantly, that she got lots of love and some even offered her half their lunch. More
While my sales person was very accommodating, the management was unwilling to negotiate. The assistant car sales manager became very aggressive and hostile once we informed him that we would not be p management was unwilling to negotiate. He then continued to push us to try to look at other vehicles on their lot. When that failed he became even more aggressive and condescending. The Damerow management that we dealt with clearly has no empathy or respect for their customer's opinions or feelings. This sales manager clearly does not care about selling cars as much as he does about bullying his customers into submission. I was considering coming back at a later date to look at other cars but wasn't ready to do so that day and his aggressive nature turned me off. Therefore I would not recommend them as they seem to be out of touch with today's customer base. More
Sales person was great and very nice. Till financing everything went down hill. Got a 2020 f150 and was approved with good interest rate then my 2018 f150. So i signed the contract. Then got a call 3 days later said " they found another bank and last bank did not go through and needed me to come back in and sign another contract" i was a little worried about new one. Went in and looked at new one and sure enough interest was higher and means i pay more in long run. I said did not want to sign this contract and will take back old truck. Was told i could not. Was very upset with that. "Which is not true in state of Oregon. But found this part out after i signed new one" also they told me wrong reason why first bank did not take. It was not because of amount it was because of term length which i got a letter from bank. I will not buy my next vehicle here. Even though I love Ford. I will go some where else. I can't recommend anyone here. Forgot one more thing that changed. Had no payment for 3 months. Now payment due in 45 days. Update: Tried to call and no one knows who i am supposed to talk too. Don't know why I need to contact to resolve the issue at hand. They have my contact information and should contact me and not the other way around. Will keep this going till then. Still waiting to be contacted. Still no contact about this. I advise anyone getting a ford to goto a different dealership. They seem not to care about resolving issues. Only care about the money. Been a couple of months and still no contact. I even tried to call again and they said be sent up the chain. Of course hear nothing about that at all. Its funny when you contact them about a vehicle there more then happy to help. But with customer service they are no where to be found. They have all my info and can contact me anytime they want. Even reported to BBB and they wont even comment on there too. Will keep this going till they contact me. Oh one more thing. This company does not respond too reviews its a 3rd party vender with default answers. More
The Damerow Ford Dealership are frauds! I recently bought a 2017 Jeep Compass less then 3 weeks ago. When I picked the car from the lot, it was priced at 19k but the dealer offered a price of 18k because it a 2017 Jeep Compass less then 3 weeks ago. When I picked the car from the lot, it was priced at 19k but the dealer offered a price of 18k because it had chips in the paint, as well as a cracked windshield. Before purchasing, I did ask if they would fix thewindsheid they said no, In order to entice me, they offered me a lower price for a quick sale. The provided me with the Car Fax and told me the value was 20K. I paid in full for the car. When I looked later on Kelly Blue Book, the value was 15k. I was only provided with one Key fob. When I asked for the other key, they told me that because it was a trade in, they would try contacting the previous owner. They never followed up with me regarding this, I had to call them 3 times, over a two week period. I gave up. I had sold my car, and bought the car quickly. I couldnt be without transporation. Fast forward 3 weeks after purchase. I am driving to Eugene for a meeting and my cars breaks down just south of Salem. The computer went black, I was getting ABS and ESQ errors. I call Damrow Ford, and they told me the car is under warrenty and to call a Jeep Dealership. I live in Portland for me. At this point, I am completly stranded and have to call AAA. Damrow Ford told me that the car would be covered up to 60K miles, bumper to bumper. My car has 43k on it. I had it towed to the Jeep dealership in Albany and paid a $149 to have it diagnosed and forced to leave it over night. I paid for hotel and uber back and forth to the dealership. The warrenty only covered 36k Miles or 3 years bumper to bumper. The dealership said the the errors had been on the computer for a while and they werent sure. After having multiple things fixed the second day and a $3K bill. Multiple things had to be fixed with the computer system because the car had apparently been sitting before they sold it to me. The errors had been in the computer for several years. Damerow Ford sold me a car that was WAY UNDERVALUED. AND I then had to dump $3k into it to repair to their negligence. I expected a call from a manager or the owner and so far I have heard nothing They managers and ownership need to take care of their customers better. I will never buy another car from them ever again. They are shady crooks! It seems that they may be paying for their good reviews.i have all the receipts and proof . More
We asked information about the car if there’s any dents or scratches, the salesman Larry M, aka the ford guy, failed to do his pet as a salesman, we asked him if there’s any dents, all he said is the car i or scratches, the salesman Larry M, aka the ford guy, failed to do his pet as a salesman, we asked him if there’s any dents, all he said is the car is like new, found out that there is 12 dents in total, we were not able to see those dents because the car is wet from rain, but the salesman Larry could have thoroughly check it for us like proper salesman would do, but he NEVER DID, we asked for some assistance but that sales manager Madjid (of course will do his best to not acknowledge any fault at there side) if Larry the salesman told us about dent we wouldn’t even drive 4 hours at Damerow, they’re too lazy to give you proper information you asked, (I’m sure not all salesman there are like that) the guy madjid told me Larry is been with them for a long time, ok, then why he failed to give us simple information we asked. We took the car because we thought there’s only one dent, but it end up being 12 dents all over the car, and they don’t want to offer any assistance to that, if that salesman told us about it, this deal will never happen, unless It’s just part of their business tactics, lie as much as possible or until customer find out themselves More

For two weeks I hadn't heard anything except for when I would call and harass my sales person who repeatedly told me it was ordered, someone should be calling me, blah, blah. After more than a week of that, she stopped responding to my calls and texts. I then called the service department and was told they had no record of this. I then called and spoke with a sales manager who said he would run it over immediately and get it ordered. I got a few messages from him that day saying it was ordered, should be in at the beginning of the following week and I would get a call. I messaged him Tuesday of the following week and was told someone from service would call me. Well, it's now Thursday and I've yet to hear a thing... More
Sneaky sales tactics. Ended up financing $5000 more than what I agreed to. Shame on me for not catching it when I signed docs. Not pleased but nothing to do other then post to caution you. Update: seems that their responses are automated as nobody knows who you are supposed to be talking to after they tell you to contact them to hear about your review. Talked to “sales manager” who told me he would call me back. Never heard back from him. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. More
Less than 1 star I would not recommend Ford to anyone! They treated me with disrespect the entire time, wasted my time putting me in a vehicle I didn't want, and I cho I would not recommend Ford to anyone! The vehicle I walked away with has a broken catalytic converter and the sales person said they would fix it but they haven't. They added an extended warranty and wouldn't you know it, the warranty doesn't cover the exhaust system, even though the tags expire 12/2020 and we just bought it from them 4/2020. I won't be able to drive or renew my tags in 8 months when they expire because without the catalytic converter, it won't pass DEQ in the State pf Oregon. They harassed me to bring in a check dated 4/15 for my second part of the down payment, despite me telling them I can't write a check for 4/15 when I don't get paid until 4/16, kiting a check is illegal Ford! Then the finance company they chose, AFTER submitting my to 10 different companies who all hit my credit hard, they found the one that wanted additional hoops after accepting the loan, then rescinded the offer and stated they found a different loan company with less hoops and less money per month but the finance company demanded more! I'm never going back to damerow ford and I am certainly not telling anyone to go there. Funny thing, I had already bought from that same location twice with 1 paid off loan and 1 loan still open but in good standing, and the third time I guess they thought I was a bad customer so they needed to screw me.
