I ordered an Escape Hybrid in Dec. 07. based on a MSRP quote provided by the sales staff at Beaverton Ford. I agreed to a price and paid a $1,000 deposit. I checked in periodically and NEVER received anything written nor any information about adjustments to the price. I was also told the delivery would be approximately 8 weeks. When the vehicle finally arrived 13 weeks later and I went to pick it up - the price was over $1,580 higher! Since the hybrid is in demand and could be sold within a day to someone else - my original agreement was not honored (or frankly in my opinion considered in any subsequent negotiation) - I had to wait three months to find out about this price increase, due to their lack of follow through. FYI - I have yet to see the return of my deposit. More

The initial estimate to "fix" was only to open the transfer case.<br><br>Day 7: No contact.<br><br>After 8 days at Damerow has offer to rent a vehicle to me. <br><br>Damerow Never has called I had to initiate all calls!!
