Mr. Justin Goodwins' quality of assistance was outstanding. When I was doing the paperwork for my purchase, he was personally cleaning the car with the cleaning crew. I spoke with Scott about a Honda mini-van. Scott was very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately we were not able to purchase the vehicle due to a change in circumstance. Paul Fannon has to be the most energetic, "clairvoyant," and "people-savvy" auto customer service specialist I've ever met -- and done business with! He has just sold my family two cars! My wife and I have a residence in Colorado for which we wanted to have a 4WD vehicle available to drive when we're visiting there (4 months a year). Because Dale Earnhardt Jr. of Tallahassee is near our home in Florida, we stopped by just to advise the dealership of our interest in any relatively low-cost, used 4WD drive that might come available in the next six months. We were surprised when the day after our visit, we were phoned by Paul Fannon that he had something really great available that he thought we'd like. Not thinking we would/could work out a deal for the vehicle he described, we visited the dealership and were pleasantly surprised by what Paul had found. Initially, we balked at the newness of the vehicle since we would not be driving it much in Colorado; Paul reminded us that because it was so new, it would last "forever" and allow us to travel from Denver throughout the west worry-free in a very reliable and safe newer vehicle. We bought it on the spot and are just thrilled with the purchase, a 4WD SUV! While talking with Paul, we mentioned that our son and his wife might be in the market for a reliable used car, as their current car was on its last legs. Two days later Paul called and said he had the perfect car for the kids based on what we had told him. Again, I thought the vehicle he wanted to show us was too expensive. Paul was so sure that this is what the kids would want, he called and said he'd bring it to us and them at their house after work! Imagine, truly individualized, customer service! Who does that anymore? Paul does. The kids were blown away with the car (beautiful, terrific condition, low mileage) and at a price they could afford because it would last them many years. They are closing the deal as I write this. As parents we're so happy that Paul Fannon really knew what we and the kids wanted and had the initiative to "bring the deal to us" on his own time! Wow! Now that's customer service, and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. of Tallahassee is fortunate to have a highest caliber individual like Paul as a client specialist. The dealership will continue to get our business as long as Paul is there, and we'll tell this story over and over to our friends! Thanks Paul, from the Williams family. More
Scott deserved this rating based on his diligent effort to find the exact suv I wanted. He was also able to get me more money for my trade than any other dealer I visited. I am very pleased with the customer service I received and the vehicle looks and drives like new. Scott cares about his customers and ensures they are happy every step of the way. I, also, appreciated that he was not pushy like most salesmen and gave me many options and time to think about what was right for me. I will definitely recommend Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Buick GMC Cadillac dealership and Scott to my family and friends, they have a great staff and great, quality vehicles. To add a huge plus, I was also able to meet Dale Earnhardt, Jr in person and have my picture taken with him!?? Overall Experience: 10/10 More
Purchase used motorhome on 5 -20-2013 paid asking full asking price. Then told there was a problem and it was sent to Dale Jr Chevrolet ended up costing me another $1,014 to fix brakes 2 weeks later went asking price. Then told there was a problem and it was sent to Dale Jr Chevrolet ended up costing me another $1,014 to fix brakes 2 weeks later went to pick up was not done saying they had ordered wrong part 4 times finally made my 2nd trip to Tallahassee and picked it up 6-20-2013 on day temp tag expired so now 15 days and approx. $2,000 later I still do not have a tag so I cannot use it and even after contacting the corporate customer sevice and numerous voice mails nobody from dealer will even return my calls. Theyhave given me no choice but to contact lawyer. I maybe had to much trust because I have been a long time fan of Dale Sr and Dale Jr and know Sr would never allow anyboby to be traeted this way and thought Jr had that integrity also. Looks like this will be an expensive lesson for me and can only recomend everybody stay clear of this and the Chevrolet dealship as they cannot be trusted and do not follow up on their problems. More
