Dahl Hyundai Mazda Subaru responded

This guest unfortunately grossly falsified the condition of his vehicle and all negotiation was done over the phone and online, with the value of his trade to be confirmed once arriving at the dealership. When he came for delivery he intentionally parked his trade vehicle on the other side of the property and tried to sign paperwork and leave before we got to verify condition. We still honored our original agreement with guest and gave him $1000 over fair market value for his vehicle which was considerably more than what third party "good" condition was. We did this because guest drove two hours to purchase and it was our original agreement. Guest continually asked for things after the sale and outside of our original agreement and threatened negative reviews if we didn't continue to meet his demands. After several of these things being done in an effort to keep his satisfaction high we eventually had to just say no. At that point he verbally assaulted members of our team and demanded surveys so that he could follow up on his threats. We have been the dealer of the year for the entire state of Wisconsin multiple times and do not conduct business in the manner that this guest is trying to represent. We try very hard to take care of our guest before, during, and after the sale. Our guests mean the world to us!

Not a single word of this dealership response is true. They grossly misrepresented every aspect of what actually happened. It only confirms what I wrote in my review. Hopefully I can save people some time by avoiding this dealership. It’s hilarious that you consider me simply saying “your dealership is laughable” verbal assault. I’m truly disgusted by your response and your lack of following COVID protocols at your dealership. Car salespeople are only out to get your money. They don’t care about your best interest. Always remember that. People should avoid this dealership at all costs. Let me address each lie that this dealership said in their response. 1. I did not grossly falsify the condition of my trade in. I sent them 20+ photos of my car and told them to let me know if they needed any other photos. I told them I thought the car was in good condition with normal wear and tear. 2. I did not park my car across the property to avoid allowing them to assess the condition of my vehicle. I am from out of town and was unsure where I was supposed to park, so I parked in the first open space I found. I immediately moved my car to the parking space they wanted me in after they told me where to park. 3. I did not try to quickly fill out their paperwork to avoid allowing them to evaluate my car. How is this even possible? I filled out the paperwork that they put in front of me. I asked questions and went at their own pace. 4. I didn’t continually ask for things after I bought the car. My only requests were to be reimbursed for the programming of the second key fob that was mailed to me because they didn’t have the second fob at the time of purchase (even though they should have) and to be given the spare metal key that was supposed to be included with the fob they gave me at the time of purchase. 5. I never verbally assaulted anybody who works at this dealership. It’s disgusting that this dealership would lie about such a thing in a response to a customer. The only thing I said that could be interpreted as rude was saying that their dealership was laughable because they refused to replace the spare metal key that should’ve been inside the fob I was given. They refused to provide a replacement spare key purely out of spite. I hope this review helps others looking to buy a car. The response this dealership gave to my review is alarming and gives you some insight into how they do business. They are willing to blatantly lie and insult their customers when they get a review they don’t like.
