I went to this dealer because they mailed us this lotto like scratch card. So I scratched it and it said I won a $1000 Online Shopping spree. Oh I won it but the jokers (the guy I dealt with didn't think i like scratch card. So I scratched it and it said I won a $1000 Online Shopping spree. Oh I won it but the jokers (the guy I dealt with didn't think it was important enough to tell me his name!!) that work there wanted to show me some kind of car before they gave me the stupid thing. So I was kind of interested in a Nissan Frontier so I asked if they had one of those and the guy said yes we do but told me that the keys were not on the lot with the truck (The sale they were having was in three locations)., And tried to show me only trucks with keys on the lot with them. Who in the right mind would not keep the keys on the lot with the vehicles?). So I found this Ford Ranger (which I do not like at all)., And asked how much it was, and the guy said "name your price". This may sound good but he said it was a repo and that he would have to look at what the payoff was on it. That's not naming your price. I assume that secretly that if you made an offer and it was not the amount of payoff that they would secretly add however much to the price that was needed to pay it off. And then I said if you don't show me the Frontier right now then I'm leaving.,He completely ignored me and said and here we have this Suzuki Verona (which is not even a truck). And I could tell that it just came out of Hurricane Katrina because it had rust all over the underside of it. And the shopping spree was completely bogus because it will pay for the purchase of the item but you have to use a credit card to pay for shipping and handling. I now will never recommend anyone to this crappy old deteriorating place. More
I purchase a LEMON at Calabrese.. Two days after I took the vehicle home, I phoned them and told them I was having problems with the vehicle.. They stated that the vehicle had been parked for a very long t the vehicle home, I phoned them and told them I was having problems with the vehicle.. They stated that the vehicle had been parked for a very long time.. that the problem should take care of itself once I have driven it for a while..The vehicle brokedown on the side of the freeway two days later.. Calabrese offered to pick up the vehicle ... they told me that I had craked the head gasket... (all this within 7 days of taking the vehilce home) Calabrese offered to fix the vehicle.. One month later they called me to pick up the car that it was fixed.. On the way home the vehicle started doing the same thing.. I took it back to Calabrese and they told me that I had messed up the transmission.. I told them that how could it be something else if it's doing the same thing it was doing before.. Calabrese told me they would put me in another car.. Well 3 weeks went by and Calabrese called me and told me I had to give that other car back, because the finance company had found out that I had financed a car thru another company.... Calabrese agreed to fix the car for me..... We were without a vehicle for another month.. Finally they called me to pick up the vehicle.. The next day the car was again on the side of the freeway... Same problem.. This time they were saying that they put to much money in the car and that was enough... I wrote a letter to the attorney general.. Calabrese told them that they would fix the vehicle.. They called a week later and told me to pick up the car.. The next day the car was stoped again.. I went personally and talked to Shane and John Calabrese and was insulted by Shane.. He was using profanity towards me.. and said that was it that they were not messing with that car anymore... I called the finance company and told them to pick up the car.. The finance company even found out that all Calabrese did was put gas in the car and said it was fixed). <br>I just let the car go back and it screwed up my CREDIT.. I will NEVER EVER purchase or refer anyone to CALABRESE.. They are just a bunch of LIARS.. (Calabrese could never figure out what was wrong with the vehicle) and on top of that they said they made repairs on the vehicle that was not even true.. They never changed the head gasket because I asked the mechanic about it.. I guess that's why Calabrese hired their own mechanics.. Since the other mechanics were more faithful to the customers... We were told we could pay out a down payment of $1000 over a period of time and even got that in writing from Scot Howle, our sales associate. Once we gave them the checks to hold, they immediately star over a period of time and even got that in writing from Scot Howle, our sales associate. Once we gave them the checks to hold, they immediately starting cashing our checks and would not refund the money eventhough they understood we did not have the money in our account to cover those checks at that time. They lied about everything they told us before we signed the deal to buy our car. When we confronted our sales associate in front of Mr. Calabrese, he, Scot Howle, called us liars and said he never made any such deal. Obviously he was lying since we had that in writing and signed by him, but what does that say about the sales people they hire there?! I love my 2003 Suzuki Aerio SX, but I will NEVER recommend Calabreses Auto Mall to ANYONE. More
