Having shopped around for the past 4 months for a 2007 RDX with Tech Pkg, I've had the displeasure of dealing with several dealerships either by email or walk-in. I've experienced bait and switch, vague price quotes, hidden fees, lack of response, and plain overpricing. They just want to get you into the dealership so they can apply the sales pressure. Dealing with Paul Dujets, the Internet Manager was truly a refreshing experience. No gimmicks, no sales pressure. Just straight up honest dealing. He was the only salesperson that willingly laid out the price plus all out the door fees right off the bat. We hashed out a price in just two emails and he patiently answered all my little questions via email. I picked up the car the following day and again he patiently showed us the car, went through the necessary paper work and later showed us all the features and how to use them. We also dealt with Jeff Torres for the financial part. Again, a very nice experience. No pressure to buy any optional features even though it was his job to go through them. I highly recommend doing the research yourself so that you as the consumer know what you want and dealing with a good Internet Sales Manager such as Paul. Avoid the hassle of the walk-in and dealing with commission based salesmen who try to get you to overpay. Overall a wonderful experience, this is how car buying should be. Don't waste your time getting a better quote from any other Acura dealer in the NYC/NJ area. DCH Montclair by far, beat out everyone else in terms of price and customer service. More
After losing our 08 TSX to an accident we wanted to replace it with an exact copy as my wife loved that car so much. After consulting the Acura website (looking coast to coast) for a certified used TS replace it with an exact copy as my wife loved that car so much. After consulting the Acura website (looking coast to coast) for a certified used TSX I discovered that DCH Montclair in Verona, NJ had an 07 TSX that fit the bill with the right (very rare it turns out) color combination and mileage. I flew from Kansas City to New Jersey and checked the car out. It was as described so gave them a check and drove 1200 mi home. Lisa worked with us over the phone, answering all the questions one might have when trying to buy a car halfway across the country. Kim helped me on-site and was terrific. Jeff was great to work with on the money end. The car was ready to go when I got there. I doubt I was there much more than an hour which was great considering the long drive ahead of me. Great team to work with! I highly recommend them. More

Kim was a true professional from the initial inquiry about the car to the day I picked up my vehicle. There was no BS, the price she quoted was the actual price I paid and it was the lowest price by f about the car to the day I picked up my vehicle. We wanted to buy a new 2009 Acura MDX, and sent out requests for quotes to most of the dealerships in the tri-state area. Of those who responded, Montclair Acura gave us one of the best prices. Looking at their ratings, we decided to go with them, even though they weren't the closest to us. A problem was that no dealership was able to locate the exterior/interior color combination we wanted, not a single car in the whole North-East: the closest one seemed to be in Ohio. After a week or so, we located one with the color we wanted in Acura of Ocean / Acura of Manhattan (they seemed to have the same inventory). Given their poor ratings, we asked Paul Dujets, at Montclair, if he would be able to get it for us, and still keep the same low price he gave us earlier. He said he would, and a few days later he had the car. We were a little bit disappointed that they didn't locate the car for us, but we had to find it on our own. Probably, the car wasn't yet at the other dealers when we first contacted Montclair, but we would have expected them to keep their eyes open for us. We also were disappointed with the very low trade-in quote they gave us. They didn't see the car, but the maximum price we could expect from them was way below what edmunds.com said other people are getting in the area. We decided to buy the MDX without the trade-in and sell our old car on our own. (We hope we made the right decision). We had to call the dealership in a couple of occasions, since they didn't seem to be getting our emails (the people in the internet deparment!?), but overall we had a very pleasant experience (and a very good price for the car). We would highly recommend them. More
I was looking for a new Acura TSX and called around, used this website to see what dealerships were good. At first i called back to follow up to see if they got the car, but after that they took it from there. He called me to follow up since the car didnt come in on time then assigned me to Kim Mellage. Kim called me enough times to keep me up to date about the car and when it finally came in, i went to go see it. She was nothing but friendly, informative and really easy to talk to. She definitely has your best interests in mind. They basically held the car for me the whole time even though i didnt put a hold/deposit on it. Then the day i went to go buy the car she actually stayed late that day cause i couldnt get there till after work. She was great to do business with and im glad i bought my car from there. The finance person, Jeff Torres, was also friendly and informative. More

I was very pleased with the no-hassle negotiations that numerous other dealers do (e.g., quoting the sticker price and how the car is 'limited' in stock). With this purchase I really only spoke with Kim (who was excellent - very friendly, courteous and helpful), who helped work the numbers to where I needed them to be. Also, after purchasing the SUV, she helped my wife sync her cell phone to the hands-free link system, setup the comfort seating, etc. Having been to numerous Acura dealerships in the the New York City / New Jersey area, this one is by far the winner.
