I purchased my MDX for this dealership. They have the very competitive price for Certified MDX. I called the dealership to make sure it not bait and trade and MDX is available. When I went there I found very competitive price for Certified MDX. I called the dealership to make sure it not bait and trade and MDX is available. When I went there I found that the dealership is small but they have good staff. The do not have large inventory but clean cars. I bought my MDX, and surprisingly sales manager offered me the same price for Black with Black MDX with similar mileage which made me much happy camper. More
My experience at DCH Montclair Acura was very pleasurable and the sales person I met with was James Domaleski. He was very honest, knowledgeable, and professional from the get go and answered all my questions in a very courteous manner. He was nothing the sales people I have encountered in the past, who just want you to choose any car and force paperwork down your throat. James was a breath of fresh air and when I am ready to buy, you better believe I will be coming back to see James Domaleski at DCH Montclair Acura. More
The call back time was HORRIBLE. It would have been easier to reach Jesus. Even getting someone to respond to an email was a headache. I got the car on Saturday 7/28 and despite the fact that it was a "certified" pre-owned vehicle; I had to bring it in two weeks later because the motor on the sun roof went. Something I feel that 150 point inspection that they do on certified vehicles should have picked up. To make matters worse I live in another state and was not offered as much as a carwash for the inconvenience. VERY happy that this is not my local Acura dealer. Was very tempted to return the car. Although the source of the information I am going to cite has either long since been forgotten, or perhaps, has never been known at all, I can recall once having heard that a customer, after having received has either long since been forgotten, or perhaps, has never been known at all, I can recall once having heard that a customer, after having received poor service from a sales or customer service representative, statistically speaking, is likely to share, or rather, “vent” his dilemma with as many as twenty-five people, as opposed to the satisfied customer, who, perhaps, may inform only one individual of a particular sales or customer service representative’s high caliber of service. Based on the lackluster, nonchalant service performed by the majority of sales and customer service representatives with whom I deal and have dealt for almost as long as I can remember, it appears as though mediocrity has become the acknowledged commonplace industry standard with which, unfortunately, I have had to acclimate myself. However, it is not often that one has the fortuitous opportunity to deal with consummate professionals such as Mr. Tim Broderick and Mr. Bob Small of DCH Montclair Acura. Concerned, caring, patient and extremely product knowledgeable are the first thoughts that come to mind when I think of the professional and congenial manner in which both Mr. Broderick and Mr. Small dealt with me upon my having brought my car in for service. They rendered straightforward and proper advice, and did not attempt to sell unwarranted service or repairs to me. In fact, my favorable dealings with Mr. Broderick and Mr. Small have left me with such an overall positive impression of DCH Montclair Acura, that aside from the wonderful quality I have come to recognize and expect from Acura products, they are one of the primary reasons why I would not only opt to purchase an Acura in preference to other automotive manufacturers’ products, but, specifically from DCH Montclair Acura. I would like to formally commend Mr. Broderick and Mr. Small for the efforts they expended on my behalf to ensure my total satisfaction as an Acura customer. This is my second RDX purchase at this dealership, where I always brought my 2007 for the past 5.5 year that matter the entire team at DCH Montclair. This is my second RDX purchase at this dealership, where I always brought my 2007 for the past 5.5 years for service, and I believe this experience was even better than the first. Walter brought a degree of professionalism to the exchange that I have never experienced before. I appreciated his quiet but helpful presentation. Of course he was very knowledgeable about the model which was significantly modified compared to the previous years. The entire process was flawless and the only doubt any buyer can have is: Was the price great? One never knows except I am comfortable with the fact that it was fair so who can ask for more?
