After buying numerous cars over the years from car-dealers who do things in the usual car-dealer way (not a good thing), my DCH purchase was the first time a car-buying experience was so good I could easily recommend them to others. Rather than taking the typical industry approach of using all available means to score as much money as possible from a buyer in a single purchase (no four-squares, hidden add-ons, or "checking with the manager" here), our DCH representative, Barry Katz, provided top notch customer service, as a big part of DCH really extending themselves to look after our needs as buyers. Great job, Barry and your team! More

EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE AT DCH MONTCLAIR ACURA!! I went into DCH Montclair Acura a little over a month now with either a TLX or an ILX on the brain. They had me test driving one of each in a matter of minutes! Walter Goldman was so knowledgeable about each vehicle you'd think he was doing this his whole life! I decided in the TLX, I just liked how it drove better, my personal preference. It took less than a week to be back in to sign the papers & be out with my new, deep red TLX. (I still was in the process of selling my old car to a private buyer.) This dealership including Sales Manager, Ruben Arcila, Walter Goldman, and Marie Rossi bent over backwards to get me into my vehicle. Such awesome customer service! DCH Montclair Acura really exemplifies their motto, "Delivering Customer Happiness"! Plus, when we were in the dealership it was so quick! What took the longest was Geico putting me on hold! My friends & family will definitely be recommended here. As well as, my husband and I will definitely be back when my lease is up! Maybe for an MDX next time... :) Thanks Montclair Acura!! More

When I went into DCH Acura and sat down to talk with Barry Katz, I didn't feel as though I was being treated like a dollar sign, but instead he listened to what I had to say and treated me with respect and dignity. Above all the manager was understanding and extremely polite. The last few dealerships I visited wasted my time by trying to low ball me and swindle me into a car I simply didn't want. I was surely losing hope in the auto motive industry until my experience with the team at DCH Montclair Acura. So I just want to say thank you one more time and I will make sure to let everyone know of my wonderful experience with DHC Montclair Acura. And i highly recommend just going and taking the time to walk around their location and meet the team, because even if you dont drive off in a new car your'll leave knowing someone cares. More

Picked up my TLX -- Had a great experience! (This review was also posted on Yelp for the dealership) Lora emailed me a day after I filled out a form through the Costco Auto Program and sent m (This review was also posted on Yelp for the dealership) Lora emailed me a day after I filled out a form through the Costco Auto Program and sent me an offer that would have been decent, but I already had negotiated a better deal with a local place. I replied asking her if they could make their offer more competitive, and provided her with the details of what I currently had on the table. 2 days later she called with some better numbers, but still not as good. At this point I thought I was done with this dealership, but at the same time, I APPRECIATED that Lora acknowledged the details of the conversation and spoke to me like a person (something like "I know these are a little off from what you said you have, but this is the best that we are able to do"... I'm paraphrasing). I encouraged Lora to see if anything better could be done, and she said she would ask the "big boss" (I'm not sure who the "big boss" is, but thank you!). Few days later she called with numbers that about matched the deal I had previously negotiated, but because I had positive interactions with Lora I decided to drive out to Jersey and get my car from DCH. I got to the dealership and was partnered with Tony, who was awesome. I think he's one of their top sales people and it shows in his personality and enthusiasm. I think he and I are pretty close in age and had common interests, talked about cars, technology and a bunch of other stuff just 'shooting the xxxx' while waiting for paperwork, insurance, etc. etc. He told me about how he went out to Vegas because he's one of Acura's top sales people and got to check out the NSX (awesome!). I then was introduced to Maria the finance manager to sign the paperwork and all the 'official' stuff. She's a pretty fun lady also(and apparently an avid ebates user)! At one point we were going over the different maintenance and warranty plans that finance managers in dealerships always try to sell you, but when I told her my driving habits she was the first one to say "yea you probably don't need it". Even though I was already thinking it, I appreciated the honesty. By the time that was done, my TLX was prepped and detailed, and Tony helped me pair my phone. That was actually super awesome, since I hadn't read the manual yet and had no idea yet what to do with the car's infotainment system. Before taking delivery of the car I did a VERY thorough walk around inspection and found a tiny scratch on the mirror housing (not the glass). Tony brought it back to the service folks and they magically made it disappear. Seriously, even knowing where it used to be I couldn't see a trace anymore. If I had to point out any negatives, I'd be REALLY nitpicking, but here you go (for the sake of completeness): - My rubber floor mats were plopped on top of the carpet floor mats by the service department rather than being installed properly and locked into place. (No big deal, I fixed that in 5 minutes when I got home, but not everyone knows to look for that) - Took a while in the dealership (~3.5 hours I think) - but I give them a pass on it; last Saturday of the month, what the xxxx do you expect. - Their email system may possibly be wonky at times - I replied to an email from Ruben Arcila (their internet manager) asking for feedback, and it got bounced back by their mail server as undeliverable. Overall everyone was quite friendly and accommodating, and it was one of the better dealership experiences I've had. I actually emailed Lora today to get some price quotes for a few accessories; I'm even willing to do the drive out there to have them installed. More
