John was FANTASTIC! John found us a super, clean, featured-packed vehicle that was just what my Mom and I need. I gave DCH Kay Honda an excellent review from top to bottom because my experience leasing my new Civic was pressure-free and I was treated with respect. I dreaded the process, being told by my mechanic that it was finally time to think of getting a new car. All my friends told me to be sure to take a man with me to help with the high pressure and pricing. I decided to just "look" at first to determine which car make I wanted. Andrew respected my need to take some time, and never pressured me. I did decide that leasing would be best for me at this time, and he ended up giving me a deal that was pretty amazing. A close friend of mine has a son-in-law who works for another Honda dealer in another state and he told my friend to give him the quote I received so he could try to beat it. When he was told my quote, he said he couldn't even match it. I shopped other makes but no one could come close. Also, a week after I picked up my Honda, I drove over something, getting a flat tire. Dave in the Service Dept. could not have been greater to work with, taking my car in on a Friday evening and handling everything for me. Overall, I really feel that all my needs were met, and I never even needed to drag any of my male friends in with me! More

The new car sales rep located a car to my liking 100 miles away and retrieved it, with no obligation on my part to buy (but I did). The finance manager spend a lot of time with me and patiently explained the various plans available. She answered all my questions and showed me all the numbers for various options. She seemed to be a very professional and skillful member of the Honda staff. Friendliness - The staff were friendly and personable, yet highly professional. I feel like I have friends there now. Overall experience - Very pleasant. I learned some things about how to care for my car. Service was quick and focused. The staff were very attentive to my needs. Price - I was happy with the final price. More

I was fairly displeased with my purchasing experience. Not only were we purchasing two cars from this dealership, but it was our 3rd and 4th Honda. I never truly felt appreciated for bringing our business back and for buying 2 at a time! I was sternly told that the dealership would not move from the 'red tag' price, yet they knew I was trying to stay within a certain price range (monthly payment) for two cars. It would have been nice if the dealership could have helped with some of the registration fees or even offered oil changes for a period of time to show their appreciation for my business. Neither of those cost too much and it would have encouraged me to bring my car to the dealership for other services. The process was also extremely long - we knew which two cars we wanted to purchase when we arrived and spent over 6 hours finalizing everything. I find that to be way too long. I was just aggravated by the end of the purchase... when I should have been excited! To add more to this, when we were home we identified a fairly large hole/crack in the interior side paneling. When I went back to the dealership to point this out and get it corrected, the manager on duty was not apologetic at all. In fact, he made me feel like it was my fault that his dealership now has to pay for this to be fixed. That was completely unprofessional - I, as the consumer, was the one who was inconvenienced by this whole thing; which, should have been identified by the dealership and not by me. No one said sorry. At this point, I will not go back to this honda dealership (if I purchase another honda) and I will not recommend this dealership. Very disappointed. More
My wife and I had an excellent experience and think we have found a new home with DCH Kay Honda. We already own a 2007 Civic and were looking to replace our other car. We settled on the 2011 Pilot. We fo have found a new home with DCH Kay Honda. We already own a 2007 Civic and were looking to replace our other car. We settled on the 2011 Pilot. We found the DCH dealer through Optimum Auto Channel. We followed up with Andrew Ly via email over the next few weeks and much to our surprise the Honda Pilot was still at the price and color agreed upon before we arrived! No "high" pressure from anyone, particularly Andrew and floor management. DCH seemed to understand that we didn't need to be "sold" on a Honda, but rather we needed a good experience at the dealership. We were in and out in 1hr and 30 minutes. We have had a few follow up questions on the Pilot with Andrew since the purchase and surprise; he is still following up and treating us like customers he wants to keep. Well done. I have already recommended this dealership to friends and family. When the Civic is ready to be traded in, DCH will be the first stop. More
