We picked the car, color and trim etc. When we got there the car was detailed and ready and we were in and out in couple hours. Yesterday (about 1 1/2 years later) I found myself in need of another Accord. I had such a great experience with my last purchase I thought I send Andrew Ly an email. He responded right away again and he remembered me, my wife and even the car that we picked. This time I was in and out in less than an hour with my 2012 Accord. Great price, wonderful service. I recently leased a new 2012 Pilot EX from DCH Honda, the car is great and the sales and financing staff were even better. After shopping at several chevrolet and gmc dealerships, looking to lease a vehicle car is great and the sales and financing staff were even better. After shopping at several chevrolet and gmc dealerships, looking to lease a vehicle with a third row I was starting to think we would never find a vehicle that would fit our budget. Every time we were close to making the deal, the finance manager would come out and talk about all the additional fees. I was searching the web looking for lease offers and came across the Honda Pilot offer. After filling out some info online describing the vehicle and budget I was looking for, Andrew Ly (internet sales) contacted me right away. I explained my budget and asked if he had any vehicles onsite that would work. He was very friendly and honest with pricing and fees from the start. Andrew was able to offer me a Pilot EX at a price that fit our budget. We made the agreement over the phone/email and less than four hours after the initial contact I was on my way to the dealer to actually see the car and hopefully drive awawy. Andrew had the car ready and clean, On way to the dealership I was thinking I hope the finance manager doesn't screw this up. Of course everything was as agreed, no suprises or extra fees!!! Andrew did a great job showing us the vehicle features and setting up the bluetooth communication to our phones. On Wednesday morning, I used kbb.com to start the internet quote process and within minutes, Kay Honda's was the lowest of the three closest dealers (we're pretty much equidistant between them) on a internet quote process and within minutes, Kay Honda's was the lowest of the three closest dealers (we're pretty much equidistant between them) on a 2012 Honda CR-V EX-L w/Navigation, basically the loaded version. A few very responsive emails back and forth during the day (Andrew was actually the only one of the three sales people to honor my request to use email vs. phone since I was at work) verifying details and answering questions and I was convinced that I'd make the attempt to work with Andrew and Kay Honda and see how it goes. On Thursday evening, we only had precisely 1 hour to get our trade-in appraised, run through the test drive and discuss the basic parameters of the deal and Andrew nailed it to the minute, initial paperwork included. The hour passed quickly as Andrew is a great combination of friendly, funny and knowledgeable. I research my car purchases to the point of driving my family crazy at times and Andrew was 100% spot on with any technical questions and knew just how much extra info to volunteer. On Friday, a few more emails back and forth, nailed down the financing approval status and eventually an acceptable deal. We had already determined that we will likely keep the car in the 7 plus year range so there was no up-sell on the extended Honda Car warranty but that wasn't discounted off the retail price and we were already at our comfort level in terms of down payment plus trade-in. The car was ready as specified by 6:30. The process went smoothly with Andrew running through a once over with us on the car. Then we went through the specification process where all the car's custom settings would be determined like when and how the lights would turn off after parking, etc. My wife's had that car for a decade and because it was her first major purchase post divorce, there was sentimental value attached and Andrew picked the right amount of sympathy and storytelling to make her happy which I appreciated. A few minutes went smoothly with Max Brodbeck (hope I have the spelling right), the business/finance manager to gather some information so he'd know what information to present us afterwards. I think Andrew removed the plates while this was going on so our time wouldn't be wasted. Then while Max went to get the paperwork organized, Andrew took us outside and explained in great detail how to operate the Navigation system, Bluetooth (including the setup of my wife's iphone, the radio, seats, sunroof, and other interesting aspects of the car, even the little 180 degree mirror thing above the rear view mirror where you can see who you're talking to in the back or keep an eye on children. Efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and no wasted time as he picked up on my wife's knowledge level or lack thereof with the various parts. Then it was back to Max for the typically worst part of the process but that was actually kind of fun as much of the details were presented on a wall mounted flat screen so we could see how changes in financing term would impact monthly price and interest paid. We went through the handful of remaining options as expected like LoJack, service plans, etc. and could see how each of those (or packages of them) would impact the price. Max was friendly throughout, quickly striking up a rapport with the missus. No high pressure sell. A few recommendations and I actually did pick one or two of them much to my surprise but it was because of our unique driving situation and location that wouldn't ordinarily apply to most people. A few minutes later and we were saying our goodbyes and heading home in our new CR-V. Couldn't have asked for a smoother process. Price was right. The trade-in was reasonable enough given the age and condition of the car especially when compared to the price. The financing may actually turn out to be convenient as it's with the same bank as holds my mortgage at an interest rate better than I expected. Everyone was friendly and efficient. I felt not a minute of our time wasted. Bottom line is I wouldn't hesitate to get my next car precisely the same way if Honda finds a way to replace my Toyota Prius with a Honda product. The Civic Hybrid isn't its equal but I figure I've got 2 years left before worrying about it. Maybe a CR-V Hybrid?? I'd trade my Prius in today for a CR-V that got say 40mpg!!!! but they better hurry before Toyota does that with a Rav4 :-) More

Made a deal on the internet, Andrew Ly was very helpful when going to the dealership. Explained what the situation was over the phone and when I arrived had some disagreement with the 'Used Car Manager' Re when going to the dealership. I would suggest both Lori and Andrew in the future, as they did their best to keep the deal alive. Kudos to the sales staff with the exception of the used car manager. More
