Toyota did the best thing by hiring Mat Morano. This was the BEST thing I ever did - to come to Toyota Freehold. But EVEN BETTER- was that Mat Morano took my case under his responsibility. I have been to many other places and worked with many other mechanics before, but each one with another headache and another story of aggravation. Not here. My case was handed over to Mat Morano bc the first fellow went on vacation. Mat took over not only the customer service part, but he saw the job through to the end - and had his workers on the case together with insurance reps and calls, over a span of a week - never tiring from doing his job right. Each time he called me - or I called him - for an update (I called frequently throughout the long week) he was the same kind, the same patient, the same helpful, and the same proactive to contact people and oversee the case as if it were his own car. I told all my friends and relatives about the amazing experience I had at this place with Mat Morano , and how he literally provided the BEST CARE AND ATTENTION TO THE CAR'S ISSUES AND TO THE CUSTOMER - so much so - that he made my week without my car as pleasant as he can, keeping me updated, giving me a loaner car, taking the time and the patience to contact and oversee all insurance parties, all parts and labor and all evaluations - I got my car back a week later - fixed, clean and a pleasure to pick it up and drop it off (he stayed late while I was rushing to get there from NY bc I won't go to any other place - not even in NY - only here). I bought a Toyota Certified used vehicle from this dealership about a month ago, but when I took it back to New York, it failed the NY State inspection due to a communication error with the emission s dealership about a month ago, but when I took it back to New York, it failed the NY State inspection due to a communication error with the emission sensor. The "check engine" light was not on, and technically, the dealership was not obligated to reimburse me the 115 dollars I spent at a New York Toyota dealership to get a code cleared and the thing reset. I believe all New Jersey dealerships only guarantee a pass on inspection for New Jersey, but not other states: this is on the purchase agreement a buyer signs. I called DCH and initially was told about this purchase agreement, but after speaking to my salesman Dan Greco, then his manager Dennis Fike directly and explaining my situation, we agreed that it was a rare case, one that he had never encountered before. I emailed him with the invoice and Dennis was able to get the dealership to send me a check reimbursing me. I was impressed because all this took place within the same business day, and the dealership technically had no obligation- to me, this means that they are not just about the fine print. She notified me while my Tacoma was being serviced of a potential problem and we agreed on a solution. She notified me as to the approximate time my vehicle would be ready and indeed it was ready. She is always polite and helpful and I schedule the servicing of my Tacoma on a day that Jen is in the office. I trust her to take care of my vehicle and make it easy for me to work with Freehold Toyota. Please thank her for me. More
I went in for service on my 2010 Highlander, I told John Scott the service advisor that my power window was going down very slowly. I needed an oil changed and tire rotation as well. I was there for almost 4 hours waiting for the diagnosis. Because I was waiting so long for the car I went to pay for the oil change and was told there was no charge. I said this was not necessary I knew it would be a long wait I came back when the part was in and again had a 2 hour wait. I always go to this dealer for service on the cars and always have a positive experience. We purchased two cars through Freehold Toyota because they always made the car buying a no hassle approach. Have been to other dealers with different cars and this is the first time that we are happy with the service we are getting. The people are honest and will not make you do work that is not needed. Approximately 2 months ago, I contacted Don after noticing rust on the rear axle of my brand Rarely do I write reviews, but I am so impressed... Approximately 2 months ago, I contacted Don after noticing rust on the rear axle of my brand new FJ. My truck is barely a year old with only 4200 miles, yet I noticed the undercoating paint chipping on the axle, and rust setting in. I wasn't happy and let Don know it. I was really dumbfounded how this could happen so quickly. On the phone, Don was patient, never rushed me, listened to my problem, and asked me to email him photos of the rust. This was the beginning of several weeks of working with Don, keeping in touch, and following the procedures needed to resolve this problem. During this time, he was awesome. He never dropped the ball, and called me on a regular basis to keep me informed. He answered my questions patiently, and explained precisely what needed to be done next. He was cordial, polite, and asked me to be patient while he tried to resolve a difficult and unique problem. Without a fix, water and winter salt would have eaten away the metal within a few years. It appears there was a defect in the application of paint, or the paint itself, at the factory. Don explained that he didn't want to rush a solution without proper guidance from Toyota Corporate. This involved opening a case with Toyota, and sending them the photos. Toyota send two engineers to the dealership, who concluded the rear axle casing was defective. It was a lot of work, as a new axle casing was shipped and reassembled under my truck. The entire process could have been stressful. It could have dragged on, or been denied by Toyota. Considering the expense involved, I was anticipating a long and drawn out process, with possible difference of opinion. I had none of that. Toyota responded immediately and wasted no time sending engineers to inspect. They never questioned such an expensive repair.. And when I asked Don why they just couldn't repaint the axle and avoid a whole disassembly, he took time and explained everything. The entire process was handled very professionally and smoothly. The staff displayed the utmost professionalism and the repair was excellent. More
My car had a very bad rattle underneath when driving at slow and fast speeds (thought it might be the drive shaft). I brought the car in on a very busy day with no appointment (arrived at 8:44am). Jason Stone spoke to me about the problem and stated that they would take a look at the undercarriage to determine what the problem was. Once done, I could wait to have the problem fixed or they would be happy to provide taxi service. Jason and Aaron found the problem to be a loose heat shield, this was removed. I chose not to have a replacement done. They also provided me with a World Class ARGIS Inspection to ensure there were no other issues. All work was completed with an hour (9:23 AM. I am extremely pleased with their professionalism, work ethics and speed of service. I would recommend other Toyota owners to use their service More

John Scott helped us throughout our entire visit, ordered our tires efficiently, updated us on all product warranties, and was extremely polite. Kept our appointment to a minimal wait time.
