Our first contact was via internet with a follow-up call from Tommy Gordon. I liked him from the start... no sales pressure. I knew that we would purchase a car from Freehold as I wanted to work with Tommy. Other dealerships I had contacted were very pushy, making numerous follow-up phone calls and emails. Tommy answered my questions thoroughly without the pushiness. I liked that. When we came to look at a car, we worked with Dan Walling, a salesman that was assigned to us as Tommy was strictly internet purchases. At first I was disappointed that we would not be working with Tommy, but working with Dan Walling proved to be another pleasant experience. These two gentlemen made a great impression with us. Dan was very patient with my husband and me as we discussed the car we were looking for as well as what would meet out budget. He also worked with us on a few different occasions when a few different car became available, not pressuring us and answering all questions. We wanted a Camry and chose a sports model that was in the showroom. Kim was pleasant and worked diligently to seal the deal. When we first arrived, Gary greeted us and found us Dan, the perfect salesperson for me. His personality and sales approach are both very laid back but helpful. He obviously wants to sell you a car, but i the perfect salesperson for me. His personality and sales approach are both very laid back but helpful. He obviously wants to sell you a car, but it's also obvious that he wants you to get the car that YOU want. He does his job very well - he'll explain all the features of the car, all the changes in the most recent editions, all the tech specs that you can think of. On the test drive, he's more concerned with what you think yet doesn't badger you with questions and doesn't lead you to answers (e.g., The steering feels nice, right?). (I teach English, so I'm very aware of communication skills.) Because I was buying a new car and was fearful that it would be a stressful situation, I was genuinely surprised when the entire sales process went so smoothly. We found a fair price on the car between the invoice and MSRP, so he and I both can feel good about the transaction. Beyond Dan's control, the add-ons were a cargo net and a trunk-bumper guard, but I'm really glad they were included. Also, the Corolla LE was in stock in both my preferred and back-up choices. Not once did I feel like Dan was trying to suggest a more expensive car or any extras. I suppose he sensed that I knew what I wanted and worked to get me that. Everything went better than expected - test drive, sales process, financing. The only less-than-perfect part of the day was waiting a bit too long for the detailer to finish the car after I bought it, but it's beyond the control of the salesperson. If you can, request Dan when you go. I can't stress enough how easygoing yet professional he is. He has to make a living, but at the same time, he knows you do too. Fair, friendly, and knowledgeable - what else would you look for in a car salesperson? More
I am a repeated customer at this dealer. Dan was wonderful to work with. He did everything he could to make sure I got the best deal that I could afford. Dan was there for me every step of the way from the beginning to the very end. He even stayed after hours for me to make sure things went well. His patience and understanding are great traits for a salesman. More

I was going to buy a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited but I was confused with the way the price was presented. So I went to this dealership to buy a brand new 2012 Highlander instead. My experience with DCH Toyota was excellent. John Bishop assisted me with my purchase. He was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about the vehicle I was interested in. After losing my spec v Sentra to hurricane Irene, I was put into a Toyota Corolla rental car. I was very surprised by the car and thought I see about buying one with a manual transmission. After talking a while with Ron, and describing my car to him, he asked me if I was looking for something close to the car I had lost, and mentioned the Scion TC. At the time, I thought I liked the older design better, and was more in the market for something with 4 doors. Keeping an open mind, I test drove the TC with the 6 speed auto and fell in love with it. Moral of the story, I was very impressed with the way that Ron listened to me and helped me get into a car that I now like better than my old one. At no point did I ever feel the slightest bit pressured to buy the car, even after returning for a second test drive. I didn't get any BS about the car not being available, or they only had 1 and it was fully loaded and 5 grand more than I wanted to spend. Everything was very straight forward. The entire staff was very friendly, even passing salesmen would stop and introduce themselves or joke around a bit. The best part was that, when I went to actually buy the car, Ron and others, as well as Paul in the financing office really kept my 15 yr. old stepdaughter and her friend entertained and made the whole 3.5 hour process fun for all of us. This is a great place to buy a car from and I would highly recommend it to anyone. More
For the past month I have been shopping for a Toyota. Out of all the dealerships I've visited, hands down DCH had the most courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable staff members. When asking for a price quote, they gave me no nonsense numbers, itemized out to clearly to show me what other fees are associated with the final purchase, such as documentation fees and DMV fees. This is the ONLY dealer I've ever went to that did not try to fool me into unnecessary fees such as window etching (they were so upfront with me stating it's completely optional). I went to another dealer (which I'll refrain from naming) where the rep -first day on the job- did not know the differnce between a Camry and a Corolla. Even worst, they treated me like they were doing ME the favor by selling me a car. I spoke on the internet with Diane Shane and then was forwarded to salesman Meir Jefroimski. Both were extremely friendly and knew of any detail I requested for the models I was interested in. Even when I was hesitant to purchase, they never badgered me like most salesman; I've never felt this comfortable at another dealer before. As far as pricing goes, they were also on the top of the list. I would highly recommend anyone to visit DCH if they want to speak to the non stereo typical sleazy salesman, as I never got that vibe there. Great service and most importantly, the Meir and Diane treated me like a human being and not a big dollar sign. More

He tried his best to make sure we were comfortable with the purchase and did not try to push extra, unnecessary cost on us. Levie handled our financing and was very courteous and knowledgeable. He explained all of our options and made sure we were happy with the deal. We were at the dealership past closing time and every member of the DCH team made sure to stop by and thank us for our purchase on his or her way out the door despite not being directly involved in the purchase.
