This is a follow up to my first review in which I was made to believe that my issues would be resolved. I was contacted by management asking me to bring in the vehicle and that they would diagnose and re made to believe that my issues would be resolved. I was contacted by management asking me to bring in the vehicle and that they would diagnose and repair all the issues while providing me with a loaner vehicle. Although they were apologetic they did not resolve the issues. Instead, I wasted my time, took in the vehicle and to date nothing has been repaired. Nor have any of my issues been addressed. The diagnostic that was conducted proved the following issues: - Shaking of the front drive assembly - Smoking of the engine and muffler into the cab - Transmission slipping and losing power - Motor mounts malfunction - Rear tail lights - Power outlets - Damage to the body of the vehicle that occurred while held at the service repair center I work in marketing for the Epoch Times and I am constantly on the road sometimes driving up to 1500 plus miles a week. Often times I leave my car in idle and the vehicle smokes and toxic fumes are released into the cab of the vehicle. It is imperative that due to my vast use of my vehicle for transportation that it is reliable. Although, the dealership understands the hazard of this situation and especially the smoking of the toxic fumes and chemicals that are being released they are not willing to rectify the situation nor come up with a favorable solution to this matter. Over the course of the year and since the commencement of my purchase I have informed the dealership of several issues that have occurred and they have yet to fix them. It is required for the dealership to perform a presale service inspection for all preowned vehicles. The accumulation of the above mentioned issues demonstrate the lack of care involved in the handling of the vehicle which is very concerning. As a previous car sales individual, F&I Manager, and Sales Manager I am very knowledgeable that the handling of my vehicle is not in accordance with governmental laws and compliance. It is imperative that the matter to be rectified as I was promised from the finance and desk manager since the first week of purchasing this vehicle. I’m not asking for anything in addition to what I was promised. After several times of taking the vehicle in the issues are no longer being documented and they continue to worsen over time. The service reports over time have not fully demonstrated the issues. I have provided them with evidence; recordings speaking with the service department, recordings of the vehicle sounds and smoke issues, transmission slamming gears, pictures and so forth. All the documentation demonstrats that this has occurred since the purchase date and timelines. My hopes would be for the dealership to rectify theses ongoing issues as previously promised. This experience has been horrific to say the least. I will continue to pursue a resolution allowing the dealership to take accountability and then doing my due diligence and contacting the California Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA), California Attorney General’s Office, Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) and the Better Business Bureau (BBB).
