Top notch Service Experience I made a last minute appointment for my 30,000 service with Melvin Smith. I arrived 15 minutes late, but Melvin had me on way in 10 minutes. Melvin stated the car would be ready after 4 PM due to a backlog of appointments. I asked him to please have it done by 2PM. He called me at 11:30 to tell me the car was ready! When I arrived at 12:30, my car was parked in front, washed, vacuumed and ready to go! I know that I didn't have major work done, but these professionals need to be credited for going above and beyond. Thanks Melvin! More

Dont take your car here The dealership is terrible for maintaining your car, you take it in and come out with many more problems. Technician have no idea what they are doing. And at the scheduled maintainance they will charge $400 and tell you the car is ok, when it is not. They lied to me! More

His patience, attention to detail, explanations of xxxxxxand con's of various makes and models, efforts to compare value, and determination to be competitive with other offers were exceptional. The neighboring, same-dealer young VW salesperson, showing us to the next-door Volvo showroom, immediately made us feel welcome; Matt impressed us with his candor and service-orientation; and Marco pitched in when Matt had to leave. Amir stayed with us till almost 10pm to ensure that all "i's" were dotted, and "t's" crossed. More

But a hit and run driver totaled our car and changed our expectations. So we began the process of buying a new Volvo. As members of Pentagon Federal Credit Union, we used their car buying service. Less than 5 minutes from completing the on-line application we had both an email and a phone call from Amir Seyedan. We heard from the other dealership after we returned home from buying our new 2015.5 S80 T5. Upon arrival at Fairfax Volvo, we were greeted by Amir and introduced to Wayne Smith. These two gentlemen and totally awesome to work with. They answered all our questions, reviewed our preferences and were delightful and excellent in every way. We picked up our car yesterday and they reviewed and set-up all the features of the car even to the syncing it to our cell phones. What a wonderful experience. Before leaving the dealership, they introduced us to the gentlemen in the service department and of course, the finance department to finish the paperwork. Wayne has called us several times to insure all was going well. We are so very impressed with our S80 AND the dealership! More
"Simply the best..." In 2008 I arrived at Fairfax Volvo and was greeted as an old friend and bought an XC 90. Not an easy task when you have been in the country for 2 week In 2008 I arrived at Fairfax Volvo and was greeted as an old friend and bought an XC 90. Not an easy task when you have been in the country for 2 weeks without a US credit history. The following week I bought a Honda from the same dealership. In 2012 we changed the XC 90 for an XC 60 and my wife drove that for 3 years. Last week we bought another XC 60, our 4th purchase and the service just keeps on improving. As strange as this sounds, this service is so good and the overall engagement about price, packages and recommendations is so honest that it can even make you change brand loyalty. My wife is the avid Volvo follower, I am rapidly becoming one too! My summary is this this team collectively represents the integrity, honesty, passion, energy and commitment that we deserve as consumers. We are moving to North Carolina soon and I "will" drive up here in x years time to buy the 5th vehicle, if not sooner. Sincerely Craig Usswald More
Great Experience at Fairfax Volvo I recently purchased a Volvo V60 from Fairfax Volvo and I can state that this was the best car buying experience that I have ever had. First of all, I recently purchased a Volvo V60 from Fairfax Volvo and I can state that this was the best car buying experience that I have ever had. First of all, I utilised Costco's Auto buying Program, which I would highly recommended. After telling Costco exactly what I wanted, I was referred to Fairfax Volvo. The dealership was closed at the time but Amir S. called me within 15 minutes of opening the next day. He explained the program and we set up an appointment to come tp the dealership. When we arrived, all the salespeople were very busy but Amir stepped aside and showed me the Costco prices, his invoice sheet and the available rebates. We were able to settle on a price that was agreeable to both of us within 10 minutes. Amir was already dealing with another couple purchasing a Volvo but he was able to work both transaction simultaneously. Whenever there was a lull in activity we were kept informed and comfortable. As always, dealing with the finance department can be unpleasant (I feel bad turning down all the extended warranties and eveything else they try to tack on) but the finance manager was courteous and nice and the process was smooth and fast. From the time we walked in to when we left was about 2.5 hours which is amazing considering how busy the staff was. I would recommend anyone in the market for a Volvo to call Amir and let him know what you are looking for. And if you are a Costco member I would make sure to use the Auto Buying program. More

I did my research, and felt prepared, but was nervous about being taken advantage of as a woman. My sales rep, Demi Moore, took really good care of me. He gave me a quote, and stuck to it. No hassling back and forth about the price. He called back when he said he would, and kept me in the loop. He was patient and I never felt rushed or exploited. I actually felt like I was in control of the sale-the way I wanted to feel. It was rainy day when I went to complete the paperwork, and Demi even walked in the rain to bring me lunch while I waited to speak to Financing. I recommend this sales rep (Demi Moore) and this dealership (Fairfax Volvo) to anyone, but particularly anyone who is new to the whole car buying experience.
