Terrific Experience Buying a New Car Purchased a new 2016 Volvo XC60 SUV through Marco at this dealership. He was so customer service oriented and very informative but not pushy. He spent tons of time with me and patiently answered all of my questions. He mentioned a Costco discount upfront which I was not aware of and I used it saving over $ 1,000 under invoice! The discount also worked on the paint and leather treatment- another $300 dollar discount. After I purchased the car Marco set up all the technology components syncing ON Call to my phone along with my cell phone address book so I could use hands free calling. He patiently explained how the different car functions worked. He followed up and answered my emails promptly . The manager Amir was equally helpful. These two men were extremely professional, patient , kind and very customer oriented. We began our new vehicle search by focusing on user reviews, reliability, safety features and price. We searched everywhere by going online, talking with friends and visiting dealerships. Obviously, the choice came down to a Volvo and the next challenge was about which dealerships in the area to visit. We searched the dealerships reputation though online sites. We narrowed it down to 3 in the DC area. I visited my first choice (nearby where we live) and got the usual sales pitch like "yes, we have the car", but when we got there magically the car is no longer available, then the manager comes out and you know the rest of the story.... When Marco of Fairfax Volvo contacted me I decided to pay them a visit despite being the farthest. It is refreshing and delightful to meet someone who is a man of his words, no sales pitch, excuses just a straight talk. I immediately liked Marco not only about his personality but also his demeanor. He is a very pleasant person to work with and a good listener, he answered all my concerns about the car. I have owned three Volvos since 1986 and I have been a loyal customer of Fairfax Volvo, in Virginia, for years, especially because of Clark Speaker. I have owned three Volvos since 1986 and by far, Clark has been the most excellent service manager I have encountered. He is knowledgeable, answers questions so I can understand them, is polite and personable, a quality difficult to find in today's world. Clark makes me feel like I am a friend he cares about. I always look forward to seeing Clark. Clark is generous with his time and expertise. If I call him and cannot reach him, he returns my calls. I now live in Rockville, Maryland, but purchased my 2012 car at Fairfax Volvo and always return there for service. There are other Volvo dealerships near my home, but after visiting one, I did not feel the trust that I have for Clark, who knows what I need and how to take care of my infrequent problems. Clark Speaker is the VERY BEST there is. His patience and honestly goes a long way. HE IS OUTSTANDING and I can say that I have seen him with other customers and he is just as OUTSTANDING with their needs.
