Excellent and personalized service In October of 2015 I went to Fairfax Volvo to test drive the 2016 XC60 and XC90. I was referred to this dealership and to a particular salesman, Andy In October of 2015 I went to Fairfax Volvo to test drive the 2016 XC60 and XC90. I was referred to this dealership and to a particular salesman, Andy McMurtry. Luckily he was available to meet with me and spent several hours that morning on test drives and detailing me about the ins and outs of each vehicle. Ultimately I decided to lease a 2016 XC90 - Millennium. It had to be ordered and the sales team made that an easy, stress free experience as well. I new how much everything was going to cost up front and there were no hidden fees and "extras" to pay for at the end. I returned on Christmas Eve to pick up my new car and had another flawless, streamlined experience with Fairfax Volvo and Andy McMurtry. I arrived at 9:00 a.m. and left the dealership before 11:00 with my new car. I returned just over one week later to have Cilajet applied and was given a new loaner and had my car by within 8 hours. I really can't say enough good things about my car leasing experience at Fairfax Volvo under the guidance of Andy McMurtry. I highly recommend this dealership and Andy if you even slightly interested in Volvo. With regard to my vehicle. I am thrilled with the everything about the XC90 and enjoy every moment I drive it! More

First-Time Volvo Drivers & It Could Not Have Been Better Jonathan Greaves was our sales person. He was fantastic. He walked us through the entire purchase process. What we liked about him the most is he told Jonathan Greaves was our sales person. He was fantastic. He walked us through the entire purchase process. What we liked about him the most is he told us upfront that our monthly lease price and the down payment amount was going to work. In other words, we did not have to waste a lot of time. Spending time at a dealership can be your entire day and time is so precious. Additionally, Jonathan knows the product when cars have become so much more complex. Finally, Jonathan is simply a good guy. When the lease is up on this car, our hope is he helps us again. More

Then we need a new car for my wife, and the first place for us to check was Fairfax Volvo. At Fairfax Volvo, Wayne was extremely pleasant to deal with, he was very patient to explain new features in details and very helpful for us to pick the right XC60. Tim helped speeding up the negotiation process, and whole experience was smooth and pleasant. Fairfax Volvo is still excellent as 10 years ago! More

Wayne and Tim were extremely pleasant to deal with and made our decision to purchase within a few hours easy. This was our first look at the Volvo XC90 and after test driving the vehicle Wayne went to work on helping us choose the perfect one with the features and price point that we wanted to be under. We ended up buying the one off the showroom floor. We shook hands because it was getting late for our little 18 month baby and agreed to do the paperwork and delivery in the morning. Wayne was there early and just a pure professional when it comes to pleasing the customer. The finance manager did take a little longer than expected to bring us in but overall it was a great experience. We will be back for another vehicle in the future! If your thinking about getting the new XC90, just stop and get it! You won't regret it. Thank you Fairfax Volvo! More

Efficiency I was in Fairfax Volvo Service department back in August and again last Saturday. Its not the same as the original deal we made, but it was good/close enough to convince me to buy the car. They represented that they were working hard the entire time to find a deal, so they could have done better in communicating that to us. They were always pleasant, and we did buy the car. Given that, I would go back if I ever want another Volvo. We spent several hours at this dealership yesterday looking at vehicles. My wife and I finally settled on the car that we liked and proceeded to attempt to make a deal. We came close, but didn't get where we wanted so we left. The sales manager (Tim I think) called me not five minutes after we left and told us he could do the deal. I was a little annoyed that he let us leave only to call a minute later as the dealership is near a crazy intersection for roads and traffic, but my wife was very excited to get the car she wanted. We returned to the dealership, shook on the deal, filled out all the paperwork, then began to wait while they got the car ready and until it was our turn to sign all the paperwork. The wait was longer than expected, and we were approaching six hours spent at the dealership when the car was ready before we'd had a chance to finalize the paperwork. My wife was sitting in the car with the salesman, pairing her phone to the car, when the sales manager came out and advised that he had made a mistake and their 0% financing wasn't available on that specific car. How we were that far into a deal to learn that is beyond me. He began to search for a different car for us, but we had to leave to get home for our dog. The sales manager said he would send us some stock numbers so that we could look at a few different vehicles that would fit the deal that we made. The end of the night came and we hadn't received anything from the dealership, which was a little surprising. Then came today and we assumed we would receive a call nearly as soon as they opened; we didn't. Many hours later my wife decided to call the dealership and got the "oh, we were just going to call" response. They then proceeded to tell us that, while they have a similar car on the lot (it actually has a cheaper sticker price than the one we were going to purchase), they now need us to pay $50 more a month. I don't know if I have ever felt more disrespected by a car dealership. I would advise against buying a car from this dealership. They don't understand customer service, or what it means to means a deal with a customer. More
