I showed up for an appointment to see a used car, and the sales associate was not ready for my appointment and had to be paged. The car I came in to see was not ready, and I had to wait 15 minutes for him to sales associate was not ready for my appointment and had to be paged. As he drove the car up it was making a lot of unusual noises, so right away I knew that something was wrong with the car. I asked if I could test drive the car, and if I could take it to my mechanic, who was only 10 minutes away from the dealership to have him look at it. He went inside to speak to the manager about that, and after another 10 minutes came back out with another sales rep, who said that the car was not for sale because there was something wrong with it. I then went and spoke with the manager, who was extremely rude and was constantly interrupting me while I was trying to talk to him. I wanted an explanation as to why no one had told me that the car was not for sale over the 2 days that I had been in contact with the sales rep, and he made up excuses, like that he had been busy all morning and did not have time to tell anyone it wasn't for sale, nobody knew, etc. He then told me that the sales rep, Alfred, had known about this problem the day before I even contacted him about the car, yet he did not tell me anything about the car being defective and not for sale. I had driven over 30 minutes to get to this dealership to see the car, and nobody even tried to apologize for the inconvenience it caused me. This is not the first time my family has had problems with DARCARS dealerships. Do not go to a DARCARS dealership if you are a female, ESPECIALLY this dealership. They will treat you like you know nothing about cars, and then when you show them that you do know what you're talking about, they will try to write you off. 355 Toyota Scion is a much better dealership than the Silver Spring Toyota, but even there they will also try to take advantage of you for being female. Incredible sales staff, great deal! We just bought a 2012 Toyota Camry and were extremely happy with the courteous service and the deal we came away with. My wife and I just purchased a 2012 Camry from Darcars Silver Spring and it was a fantastic experience. Working with Ken was great! Ken is a very friendly, happy person and put us right at ease with his easy smile and relaxed demeanor. Ken had the paperwork with the agreed upon price and our Camry was coming out of the car wash as we arrived. There were no high pressure sales and we declined a few of the offered services and Ken was very amicable and gracious about it. He walked us over to our car so we could inspect it while the prep team was putting the finishing touches on the car. Once we got back to his office, Ken completed the paperwork and directed us to the financial dept. From there John DeSouza took care of us and he was very efficient and took the time to explain all the papers we were signing and answered all our questions. We will definetly get our next car from Darcars toyota in Silver Spring and hopefully Ken will still be there to sell us our next car. We highly recommend Darcars!! More

We wanted a particular color and the staff worked hard to locate a vehicle meeting our specifications and was able to deliver the same day! Diego drove into Virginia to bring the vehicle back. Originally we came in to begin our search for a new car, thinking we would end up visiting several dealerships, possibly over many weeks. It was great to decide on a car, make a good deal on trade-in and drive it home the same day! Great service. More

After finding the vehicle that I wanted on-line, Rod Durden contacted me by e-mail to start the process and ensure that my car would be held and not sold to anyone else until I was able to drive there and take delivery. The price that Rod offered me was substantially less than what I was being offered by local dealers for similar vehicles and that made it well worth the 3 hr drive that I had to make to get to DARCARS Toyota of Silver Spring. At first, I was a little skeptical and unsure about buying a car this way but I can say that Rod was honest and responsive during every step of the process.
