I was very pleased with the experience of buying a new car at DARCARS. Rod Durden worked with me and made it easy to test drive and compare two different models. Rod provided lots of useful information and answered my questions, but did not try to pressure me into making a quick decision. After I did some more shopping, I came back to Rod and there was no hassle in negotiating a fair price and sticking to it with no sneaky surprises. More
Wahab is by far the worst Financial Services Manager I have ever met. I've purchased 3 new cars within the past 2 years so I know how the whole process works after you agree to buy a car, the financial ma have ever met. I've purchased 3 new cars within the past 2 years so I know how the whole process works after you agree to buy a car, the financial manager tries to sell some additional products such as extended insurance to you. And normally they are pretty persistent and can get a little frustrating when they keep telling you you need it when you've already said no. But unlike others who will back off and still be cordial and professional after you've said no, Wahab is far from that. In my encounter with him, he turned down right belligerent and almost hostile. I felt like he was yelling at me and attacking and insulting my intelligence. He even went as far as to lie to me. He told me the new Toyota Camry would need to change the timing belt in 50,000-70,000 miles. When I told him he was wrong because I've done my homework and found Toyota switched all time belts into time chains in new vehicles a couple years ago and timing chains do not need to be switched till well over 150k miles, he said I was wrong and that his wife who owned a relatively new toyota just had to get hers done. So finally we asked the sales rep and the sales rep said Wahab was wrong. Unbelievable. So if you would like your car buying experience to be with a dealership that employs a financial manager who will lie to you, become downright unprofessional and belligerent towards you when you've already agreed to shell out $20k+ money to them, and someone who'll insult your intelligence, then go to Darcars and buy a car. If not, stay away from this dealership IF they continue to employ someone like Wahab. More
I have been at the Dealer Service for more than two years. I can say everybody on the service and dealership are are nice and helpful, but Peter is the best customer handler and understands what really years. When we came in to test drive and purchase the vehicle, Rod was very friendly and attentive and meeting our needs and answering all our questions. Everything was clearly communicated right from the start and there were absolutely no surprises through the whole process. Rod was very good as honoring his word and the price of the car that was agreed upon. The whole car buying process was very pleasant, fast and smooth. Recently, my car was not running as smooth as it has in the past. So i asked around to some of my friends of where i should take my car to, 3/5 of my friends recommended me to go to this dealership. My first time at this particular shop was pretty good. I was a little overwhelmed from the amount of people going in for service, i had been to other shops and never seen so many people dropping of their cars. I was recommended to ask for Howard Feld, This guy is very much a people person and is determined to help customers out, and his jokes are not bad too! Howard asked lots of questions to determine what was wrong with my car. After coming to the conclusion, he recommended me a couple things to help my car, which i agreed too. They had to order a part that was not in stock, so I had to come back. Thats when i had the opportunity to work with Peter Bielanski, this guy was very friendly and helpful, he even introduced me to one of the mechanics who was going to work on my car. Consultant, Rod Durden, was able to answer my questions and give me info. about the cars and the company, as far as achieving the consumer's needs.
