We had driven the same car at a different dealer, but got better pricing and an easier test drive at Darcars. The offer they gave us for our trade was far above that from any other dealer. We didn't feel pressured to buy "up" or to accessorize, and we were not given the hard sell on any warranties. Nothing was added to the final price except the tax and tags....just as we were told. We declined the extended warranty, and there was no arm twisting. It was a very enjoyable experience. The dealership was VERY busy, but they kept us informed of what was required at each step and still got us through the entire process from test drive to out the door in the new car within a couple hours. More

I'd sign to hold car if needed , my daughter sent E-mail at 7 am agreeing to purchase vehicle and to contact her father for signature and deposit , I called at 10 am , since I did not hear from slsmn. and he said another slsmn. was just in process of taking an order on that car , we were quite upset , my daughter went online and "found" your dealership , we pulled onto your lot on Rte.40 W. and immediately Mr.Hewitt walked out and asked how he could help us , and established a very good repoire with all "three of us" (my daughter , grand-daughter and myself) gathered our information and needs , got us keys and we test drove 2 vehicles selected one , in the mean time Vince (your sales mgr. examined my daughters trade-in vehicle prepared a very generous complete proposal that we accepted) during the whole process every individual we came into contact with at both locations were "extremely courteous and very outwardly friendly" my sincere gratitude to Russell , Vince , and John and the entire staff at DARCARS Toyota I commend you on having employed some truly fantastic indiduals they made a "bad experience" turn into a "GREAT EXPERIENCE FOR MY DAUGHTERS FIRST DEALERSHIP PURCHASED VEHICLE". Purchasing a new car itself is a very daunting experience for everybody. It is no wonder that many people would think it would be crazy to purchase a car from a dealer who is few hundred miles away. Two week for everybody. It is no wonder that many people would think it would be crazy to purchase a car from a dealer who is few hundred miles away. Two weeks ago, I did this “crazy” thing and the whole experience could not have been any more pleasant with my sales person Eldridge Moses. It was not my intention to purchase a car so far away from my home. However, the local dealers not only did not have the vehicle I was specifically looking for but also were not willing to negotiate the price. Naturally, I had to slowly expand my area from New Jersey to Connecticut and Pennsylvania to Maryland and Massachusetts. This is when I got in touch with Moses Darcars Toyota of Frederick. All the negotiations were done over either phone or email and he assured me the quoted price will not change once I drove all the way from NJ to MD. All the local dealers when I went back to them with Darcars Toyota of Frederick quote said the price is impossible and there will be “surprise” charges once I got there. One salesman even said Sienna XLE with EVP#1 (the vehicle I was purchasing) did not have leather seats and I was being lied about the whole thing. However, after couple of reassurances from Moses and Sean the sales manager and below posting I saw at dealerrater.com, I decided to take the risk and sealed the deal with Moses. I have to be honest that I was ready to fight with Moses with any “surprises” when I first arrived at the dealership. That readiness was actually wasted because Moses not only honored the quoted price without any surprises but also made sure that we test drove the vehicle before we sign the papers and did not make us feel pressured in anyway. It was such painless transaction and we were ready to drive home with brand new 2010 Sienna XLE with EVP#1 (with leather seats) less than two hours later. One thing other reviews does not mention is that Moses worked at Darcars for more than four years and he is the #1 salesman at the dealership. I think that alone shows how trustworthy Moses is because he would not risk his four years of reputations over few hundred bucks he could make by cheating his customers. Also, he could not reach the spot he is in now without consistent customer satisfaction as words do get out. I think I would have felt much more comfortable had I known this before I drove down so I am throwing out there right now. Anybody who is interested in purchasing a vehicle from Fitzgerald Toyota should contact Moses and see if he can match the price. If he can, I would definitely go with Moses simply because your car buying experience should be only pleasant without any bitter taste. More

My salesman, Eldridge Moses, went far beyond what would be considered "good service", to insure that he found the right truck for me....and actually brought this truck to Frederick Darcars from another Dar be considered "good service", to insure that he found the right truck for me....and actually brought this truck to Frederick Darcars from another Darcars dealership....then proceeded to locate, order and install every single accessory that I requested....and in such a timely manner, that when I arrived in Frederick, after driving all the way from Nova Scotia....on my way back home to Florida....the truck was ready for me when I got there, and all I had to do was sign my name a bunch of times and write a check. All financial details had already been agreed to. Finance manager, Mike O'Brien, was also extremely enjoyable to deal with. There were absolutely no last minute surprises. Imagine getting the truck of your dreams....at a time when there just aren't many Toyota Tundras out there....doing all of the negotiations over the phone from 1300 miles away...arriving at the dealership only to realize that the truck is even better than you had envisioned....then signing the papers and be out the door in less than an hour. Please let me know if there's an easier and more enjoyable way to purchase a vehicle. This is the second consecutive truck that I have purchased from Mr. Moses and Darcars Frederick....and I hope to continue our excellent relationship for many more vehicles. This organization....and Mr. Moses in particular....truly understand the meaning of customer service. More
