DARCARS Toyota of Baltimore

This dealership is very bad on the sales side. I have used them for service of my Toyota and found them to be very good on the service side, but when I went to buy a new Toyota, they were rude - especial used them for service of my Toyota and found them to be very good on the service side, but when I went to buy a new Toyota, they were rude - especially the sales manager. They kept luring me back - three times - saying that they had the Toyota Camry which I was looking for -- only to have it "just pull off the lot" when I got there. This was plainly an attempt to upsell me to their higher priced models. What amazes me is that they would not outsource or get the model I wanted from another dealer or within their own dealership so I could take delivery later. I was willing to put a deposit and take delivery later, but this stupidly-run dealership would not do that, allowing me to walk out - unhappy because I spent over seven hours waiting there over three trips, and that I had been treated so rudely by the sales manager. It seems the inner city rudeness of Baltimore has become deeply rooted in this dealership and it is accepted practice to treat customers, prospective and otherwise, very poorly. I would not recommend this dealership to my worst enemy, much less anyone I cared about. I won't even go back to the service side because of my experience there. How it gets a rating over over a 4 on this site is beyond me. I suspect their sales people are rigging the system and logging on to give a false high rating. More

Service might be great here, but the sales experience left a bad taste. We went for a used vehicle but the sales manager wanted us to buy a new one "for about the same price". In reality, after 5 hours and signing paperwork, we discovered that neighboring Russell Toyota and R&H Toyota BOTH advertise better pricing and lower interest rates. More

Darcars of Eastern Ave. offer quality work, good prices, friendly employees and informative about the service that is being done at the dealership. It is close-by and able to make Appts. I worked with Lindsey in the service department, she was amazing. She addressed all my concerns regarding my 2005 camry. I pulled my camry into the service lane & was greeted right away by her. I brought in my 2007 camry for brake service. I was greeted when I got to the dealership. I was quoted a price and told how long it would be to complete the job.
