After a few bumps and bruises (disagreements) with dealership GM, i traded the vehicle in 4 days later for a New 2016 dodge challenger SCAT PACK and paying a small agreed upon difference. It wasn't smooth and it wasn't pretty, but the problem was remedied. Reason why i am only giving 3 stars at the moment is because dealership now needs to finalize all paperwork with the banks, payoffs, tag transfer, etc... Once all these issues are resolved (one major mess) i will update. More

It wasn't that I had to make another stop, it was having to deal with grimmy "we'll steal your keys so you can't leave" type of salesmen! All the lies, all the relentless phone calls, all the reasons why their dealership is the best choice. This just made the experience so tiring. All shoppers want to do is sit in the drivers seat and feel if that car is right. But how can you when you have a salesman showing you a million things and also trying to lure you into taking it for a test drive? The sour taste in my mouth quickly changed when we met Mike Luvene at Orange Park Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. A text back to him in response to my online inquiry the day before led to him waiting for us at the door when we arrived. He greeted my entire family, suggested we take a golf cart to scope out the vehicles (we had a toddler) and even reminded me to grab my belongings I kept leaving behind when I jumped out and checked each car. It didn't stop there. As we went from car to car, he didn't smother us, never told us which we should go with, he paid attention to what features I wanted and kept the numbers where I wanted them. Most importantly, he stayed honest and it got better when we got back to the showroom. He didn't tell us obvious lies or disappear for long stretches every five minutes to "talk to the manager". He even went one step further and fed our impatient, starving kids while we sorted out the details. He even let our family test drive it without him while he finished some paperwork on the sale. It ended up becoming such a smooth process that I asked my husband "Is this really happening?" We ended up having fun, cracked some jokes back and forth and even made his promise to get us back home before football game time. When we were all set to drive away in our new car, he impresses us one last time and gives us a walk through and tour of our new vehicle. Who does that?! Mike did and we're completely amazed and thankful that our stressful search ended with him. More

Poor example I called the dealership to schedule for a recall. This would have been my first visit here. Izzy, in service scheduled me for Monday at 8am. Well the problem with this is, I arrived and they were closed due to Labor day. Driving acroos the bridge and it being my only day off this is horrible customer service. More

We checked out the van, spoke to him about our trade in and our cash. The 2006 caravan we were trading in they were only willing to give us $2000, but was not willing to take our $10k. Cash. So we talked it over and he agreed with taking $11,800 in cash with their offer of $2000. for our trade in, yet the blue book valued our trade in @ between $4500.-$4900. We will willing to take the hit on the trade in since he was taking a hit lowing the sales price. This price was to include all fees, taxes, titles, etc!!!!! We repeated the terms several times and Dennoven repeated them and confirmed them with us. We then agreed to go eat while he got the paper work together & got the van cleaned( a soda or something exploded in back of it by previous owner or tester???). I called him after we ate, and he confirmed by phone all was ready for us upon our return to the dealership. When we arrived ,we & Dennovan checked out the van to see it , & it was still filthy!!! He wanted me to go to the back where the cleaners were to explain what they missed??? so I did , and then we went back into the show room. He met me there and we went out to our van where he apologized but still wanted us to sign the new van papers due to their dealerships end of the month constraint . My father was paying cash and did not feel comfortable until van was completely clean.... So since it was now getting close to 6:30pm Dennoven understood and we all (4 of us) agreed to return tomorrow ( Sunday ) @ 1pm to sign papers and take possession of the 2014 dodge caravan. Sunday comes, I call to confirm all is done, Dennovan was very nice & excited to tell us he cleaned it with the cleaning crew to make sure it was done right! So we arrived before 1pm. Dennoven showed us the van & even pointed out a spot of soda drips he missed so he said no worries, drove it to the back while we waited. He took maybe 15 min. Had it back cleaned! We were all excited, so my husband , Dennovan & I took the new van for a test drive! all was great!! So we went to Dennovans desk to go over & sign the papers, as well as make out the check correctly. We did that, and all was smooth.... my dad confirmed with Dennovan on the correct amout to write the check. So the check of $11800.00 was written & trade included $2000.00 , all paper work signed. While waiting we were told we could unload our van stuff into the new van. We waited about 30 min for Dennovan to return.... Only to tell us a mistake was made & it was his fault , he needed another $2000. !!!!! We said the papers were signed and that the agreement had been confirmed several times over 2 days!!! I even have it in writing!!! I asked to speake to the GM. That man would not acknowledge the paper work and only the OTD amout of $13,800. He wanted in a check amout??? I showed him on the paper work where it was written the $11,800 cash, $2000 trade in & that equaled the $13800. Total!!! they tried to change that the words that OTD cost was the cash only??? I told them that is why I checked many times to make sure we were all on the same page!! Then Dennovan admitted he made a mistake , handed my dad the old title to his van and his check back!!! I said I wanted the van & that the dealership should honor the sale as agreed upon with their salesman!!! they told us to call Brian the Used Car GM and he could review it with Dennovan. So I called on this Monday morning, spoke very nicely to him, explained the situation. He said he would get back to us.... He never did, so I called like 2 hrs later only to be left on hold for a good 15 min. Then he said he did not have time to speak to Dennovan, but was about too.... And then tried to tell us we all missed understood the deal!! I told him then his salesman told him a different story then he told us! And Brian said he was giving us more then $2000 for the trade in.. $2900... Plus he wanted $13800. Cash & that's what he told Dennovan..... I. Told him thats not what we were told and he should honor our sales agreement! He then tried to blame us for not understanding and miss communication! I told him we were educated, I had taught School and made sure Dennovan & I as well as my father & husband were on the same page & that Dennovan already admitted to the mistake we just needed Brian to ok it...that this is the first time I have ever had this type of issue buying a car??? I also told him we are a dodge & Jeep family, That we really wanted the van. He then said a lot of folks want that van, and hung up on me! Just for the record, I was calm and not yelling like I got in the dealership the day before! People need to stay away from this place as my experience just showed us they are cheats & Liers! The Navy base papers even recommend or advertise them!! As a military family I will be going to the Navy CU and military contacts to alert them of the bad business practices of this dealership! More
