I’ve purchased quite a few autos in my life from quite a few dealers. Some were good & some were not so good, but this was the worst I have ever experienced. I bought a new Jeep Compass on May 31,2024. It few dealers. Some were good & some were not so good, but this was the worst I have ever experienced. I bought a new Jeep Compass on May 31,2024. It is a very nice car & Jimmy the salesperson & Fred the sales manager seemed very easy to deal with. I agreed to the deal they offered with 2 add-ons. I needed a spare tire kit as one doesn’t come with most new cars, & a cargo area cover. Jimmy & Fred agreed to this & would add to to the car. They brought the car around & wanted me to take delivery right then. I did not have the title to my trade nor my checkbook. They stated I could bring all that back the next day & finalize everything. I looked at the car & it appeared to have been sitting on the lot for awhile & needed washed. They said wait & they would have it washed but I said I would return the next day. I came back & signed the paperwork & went to the car. I looked in the back & no spare tire & no cargo cover. Jimmy said they would have to order those items & it would take a couple days. After calls which were never returned my wife & I stopped in. We were assured they would be delivered within a week & they would have them brought to my house. Called again more than a week later & was told the salesman Jimmy had received them at his home but he was off that week. Later was told Jimmy wasn’t in as he was sick. All this time I received 3 returned calls & only really talked to Fred (never Jimmy) if we stopped in. At one of my stop ins I was told (even though Jimmy had both items at his house) that a cargo area cover is not made for that year car & they were still waiting for them to be delivered. I did receive 1 text from Jimmy & he said he was trying to get a confirmation # & eta. That was on July 15. During the time from when I purchased the car till July 15 I had called over 20 times some went voicemail & some I managed to talk to someone (never Jimmy). I received only 3 callbacks. It is August 11 2024 & still no spare tire. Needless to say my recommendation for this dealership and the people I deal with as less than 0. More
****Update**** 7. 21.24 They can sell a car but they cannot follow up with any sort of customer care or support . A good dealership should be good from the sale through the care and support #DARCARSserviceSUCKS! Next one will be through #FordAutoNation or #Garber in Greencove. More

There was a factory recall and the dealership advised me that the vehicle should not be driven, but I was offered no loaner, so I had to rent a car and was without my jeep for over a month. To be fair, they covered 4 days for a rental. The rest of the time I was without my vehicle. I just had to pick my jeep up, again, I had a 7 am appointment 2 days ago. No one ever called to give me the status of the repair, when I called today, we found that it had not even made it into the shop, even though I had an appointment 2 days prior! We understand that things don't always go as planned, but this has been a pattern from the beginning. I would not advise using this dealership. More
