SCAM! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Maliq Stokes sales person sold me a 2020 Infinity q50 when I asked if there was a second key before I signed the deal he said yes. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Maliq Stokes sales person sold me a 2020 Infinity q50 when I asked if there was a second key before I signed the deal he said yes. I buy the car and he gave me one key and a empty tank of gas. I ask about the other key he said they will try to contact the previous owner. I followed up every day regarding the second key and he said we can’t make cut a new key because it’s not a Honda key. I called the manager for 4 days and never received a return call. Finally, I was able to reach the used car general manager he said why didn’t I ask me, and he was unaware and there is nothing he could do. I said if your selling cars why didn’t you say there was one key and he said I should of ask. Well, I asked the sales guy, and he said yes. This is unacceptable and I will never go back to the dealership again. More
I took the car in to fix the air conditioner which is under warranty from Honda. They informed me I needed other services done. I had the other services performed, no confidence that those other servic under warranty from Honda. They informed me I needed other services done. I had the other services performed, no confidence that those other services were done correctly. I went out to the car and it was still blowing warm air. Had to leave the car and it took them from Monday, Tuesday was a holiday and I did not get the car back until Friday. It was technician error, they left off a second snap ring, it took all this time to figure that out. Money should be refunded for the other services rendered as I am not confident that anything was done correctly and all the trouble they have put me through. Customer service is horrible, they do not call, you have to call and you can never get through. The phone just rings and rings and rings. I was also struck by a vehicle while I was there, although I was not hurt. I will never come back to this dealership ever. More
Once you purchase a vehicle, the staff at DARCARS Honda will abandon you. Good luck trying to get any services/assistance after they have your money. They ignore commercial calls, commercial emails, and will abandon you. Good luck trying to get any services/assistance after they have your money. They ignore commercial calls, commercial emails, and even calls/texts on their work cell phones. I purchased a used vehicle from DARCARS in January 2022. The process to purchase went quite smoothly. However, I never got my title (to clarify, I purchased virtually and had a family member drive the vehicle to DE since I was sick). I live in DE, so I attempted to call to inquire... I called, left many messages on the commercial phone line, and no one ever responded. I called/texted employee work cells, and they ignored me. I stopped by DARCARS Honda on Thanksgiving weekend (I live in DE), and I met the general manager, Payam Marandloui. I was told that I cannot get paperwork "because even though we're open, it's a Sunday." However, he offered to sell a car... so apparently he can sell a car on Sunday but not give me paperwork for a car I purchased from his dealership. He told me that I cannot get my title from the dealership, and that I needed to buy one from my local DMV. I contacted my local DMV, and they informed me that my dealership needs to provide my title, since it reflected in their system that DARCARS Honda had my official title. When I asked the DMV about my dealership telling me to buy one from them, she confirmed that they were making me buy a duplicate. When I reached back to the dealership, no response. I contacted the general manager and finance rep, Daniel, directly and they ignored my calls/texts. More
STAY AWAY. I am a resident of Delaware. Bought HRV in April 2022. As of September 13, 2022, I have not received my sticker and registration. The staff is no I am a resident of Delaware. Bought HRV in April 2022. As of September 13, 2022, I have not received my sticker and registration. The staff is nonresponsive. The Voicemail box is full so you cannot leave a message. I drove from Dover, DE to Bowie, MD to get closure. After waiting for over 1 hour, there was nothing done to solve this matter. Monique Gross, tag and title clerk is unprofessional with poor customer service skills. She continued to blame the pandemic for a backlog yet could not prove the paperwork was sent to Delaware. After speaking with Honda Financial, I was told that they had not received the title from the dealership either. They also had an issue with DARCAR Honda not returning calls. Temporary tags were issued 3 times. The tag and title clerk could not provide tracking information verifying the paperwork ever having been sent to Delaware. She suggested that I drive from Dover, DE to the DMV in Wilmington, DE to hunt down the paperwork. Remember there is NO tracking information. What an insult to suggest something so ridiculous when DARCAR Honda has been paid to process tags and titles. It is not by happenstance that my review is almost identical to Lashon B's Yelp review. This dealership should be canceled due to ineptness. I only gave 1 rating because there was no place to put 0. STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! More
This is the worst Honda Dealership. Stay Away. I have been long time Honda Owner and this is my 3rd Honda. I have not experience so much incompetency in my life. I bought my CRV fro Stay Away. I have been long time Honda Owner and this is my 3rd Honda. I have not experience so much incompetency in my life. I bought my CRV from them at the end of May 2022. It is September 8, 2022 and I still do not have my tags even though I reminded them one week before this second temporary tag was to expire. Now I am unable to drive after today until 4 days from now when I was promised I could pick up my tags. During this process management tried to dodge my calls and was rude when I finally was able to speak with someone. I had to call the corporate office to get the unacceptable resolution that I received, but at least I got a response, which was not happening until corporate was involved. More
If I could give a rating of negative stars, I would. Customer service is beyond horrible. Bought my second brand new honda accord in 2013 from Honda of Bowie (now Darcars) along with the Maintenance Plu Customer service is beyond horrible. Bought my second brand new honda accord in 2013 from Honda of Bowie (now Darcars) along with the Maintenance Plus Service Package that includes- per my contract- OIL CHANGES FOR LIFE. FOR LIFE...not 5 years, not as long as the dealership wants, but ...FOR.... LIFE. I have the contract in hand- there's no asterisks, no info in parenthesis - no small deceptive print. FOR LIFE. I've taken my car in for every single oil change since I bought it. Even after Darcars bought it (2017?), the general manager (Ray Berry) acknowledged the contract, entered a note to charge back the sales dept for it- and I continued to get the maintenance/oil changes per the OIL CHANGES FOR LIFE contract.....for the last FOUR years. Now all of a sudden I go in and they tell me it is expired. HA! Expired? Im not dead, my car is still running....so lifetime is lifetime...right? The life of the car- as long as I own it, right? Yeah- tell that to the service manager, Danny. He could have cared less. Stated Darcars ended that program in March. Really? No one told me when I was just in July (July comes after March, right?) and got my oil change - right- per the contract- OIL CHANGES FOR LIFE. So.....im lost. You "no longer have the "oil change for life program"- yet you advertise it on your website. Interesting. So, sad to say folks, for everyone who has these contracts- Darcars is telling everyone they no longer honor them. He went on to state that Darcars didnt transfer the maintenance contracts when they bought out Honda of Bowie. If that is indeed the case, you "did not assume" the existing contracts, why did you continue to honor it after the fact? You indeed "assumed" this contract when you honored it THE VERY FIRST TIME after Darcars bought the dealership- and EVERY SINGLE TIME AFTER. No worries though- I am working on it because the dealership is indeed obligated now to honor it, since they assumed it that very first time after they bought out the dealership. One more interesting tidbit - guess who called me after I left the dealership- Darcars Honda sales team. Guess why...... they want to buy back my accord and put me in a brand spanking new 2022 accord. BAAAHAAAHAAA! You dont want to honor my OIL CHANGE FOR LIFE contract but you want me to buy a THIRD brand new, fully loaded honda accord from you. Picture that. See photos attached...Care to comment, Darcars? Now, onto the regional office! More
IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR VEHICLE LONG TERM DONT BRING IT HERE!! (Short Synopsis- Quality of work is not Thorough) I Purchased a New Honda Civic 2016 from Rosenthal (Virginia) in 2016 but I'm a Bowie Resi HERE!! (Short Synopsis- Quality of work is not Thorough) I Purchased a New Honda Civic 2016 from Rosenthal (Virginia) in 2016 but I'm a Bowie Resident so it's 'convenient' having the Bowie Darcars Honda Location. I've had it serviced here the past 5 years; service & associates professionalism & thoroughness with my vehicle has usually been just mediocre & sometimes you'll come across a truly dedicated caring associate (Twice in 5 years). Today was the last day I will bring my vehicle to Darcars Bowie Honda Location!! About 3 months ago I brought my vehicle in to get an electrical & battery check because my front amber lights would flicker randomly while the vehicle was parked & off. I was told it was an electrical glitch/malfunction that would not affect performance. Knowing my warranty is near over I ask the young lady to make note of my issue for coming in. Just in case something would happen in the near future it was documented. 3 Days ago my vehicles engine wouldn't turn on & the battery was dead. I use my warranty & Honda care to have my vehicle towed to this location. Upon inspection & before calling to get information on the issue, I am told about charges that my warranty would cover if the associate was thorough & looked my account information up prior to speaking. Upon speaking with the associate, & informing him that this issue is related to a past visit & an unsolved problem with the vehicle. I ask if notes were left by the last associate, to my disappointment no notes on my issues or concerns were left. Upon arrival this afternoon I never received an apology, accommodation for the lack of thorough job done for my last visit, or any real concrete information on why my vehicle had the lighting or electrical issue to begin with. Most Honda dealerships wash your car after service when you're a part of the Service Care. That didn't happen. The cashier was eating Chips a Hoy Cookies out the large container while taking credit card transactions. Employees were bickering with each other. Not a professional environment or thorough service center. Save yourself & your vehicle the stress. More
