Had a good car buying experience with Darcars. Called them over the phone about what car we wanted and how much we were willing to pay (not close to MSRP). It didn't take too long for them to agree on t them over the phone about what car we wanted and how much we were willing to pay (not close to MSRP). It didn't take too long for them to agree on the price or the car after a few calls. When we forgot to confirm the OTD price the previous evening, we called them on the way to the dealership to confirm, and the OTD price was the same. So they didn't try to scam us into coming down at a certain price, and then add in a bunch of fees. We test drove the car by ourselves, and immediately started the paperwork when we returned. The F&I Mgr wasn't there that day, so Terry helped complete the paperwork as best he could, and all seems well so far. Steven cleaned up the car and filled up the tank, told us about care and maintenance of having a black car, and told us other little tidbits about the car. I've had to call a couple them a couple times more in the process of coordination with our lienholder, and the gentlemen we've talked to have been more than helpful. The receptionist can be a bit lacking in helpfulness and good attitude, but it's not as bad as previous comments - although they might have replaced that receptionist since then. Sometimes I talk a bit too long, and I can tell the salesmen are in a bit of a hurry to get off the phone, so that's understandable. Raushad, however, was as ingratiating as he could be, even though the particular question I asked him was not within his domain, and he apologized for having to transfer me back to the receptionist so I could request the proper person. I hope, for our sake, based upon the previous comments that the dealership has turned a corner. More
I had a positive (sales) experience in August 2007. I negotiated my prive via email with the "internet sales manager" and picked my vehicle, by VIN, while on-line. We made an appointment and when we arr negotiated my prive via email with the "internet sales manager" and picked my vehicle, by VIN, while on-line. We made an appointment and when we arrived the vehicle was out front and cleaned up. Matthew greeted us, gave us the keys, and left us alone to check out the new van. When we were ready, Matt took a copy of my license and took us for a test drive. We agreed to buy the vehicle and Matt left to get the paperwork started. The paperwork came back as price plus fees (destination charge) and, when I made it clear that my negotiated price had included that fee the correct adjustment was made. My only real complaint is that we waited over 90 minutes to go back to the contracts department for ALL the paperwork. When we did finally go back to the office it was a smooth and easy process. Gigi offered the Extended Warranty (at an incredible $2,995) and when we declined she was not pushy at all. When the paperwork was complete, Matt took me to the gas station and bought our first tank of gas. MSRP: $28,880 Megotiated price: $20,270 Plus tax/tag/title and a $100 processing fee Out the door: $21,900.50 All told, a positive experience. More
I left my 2007 Jeep Compass overnight for service at the body shop, for paint discoloration on the hood on 20 May 2007 for service on 21 May 2007. I was told by George in the service department there would body shop, for paint discoloration on the hood on 20 May 2007 for service on 21 May 2007. I was told by George in the service department there would be a heat treatment done that should correct the problem and it would only take 4 hours and I could pick-up my vehicle the same day. I indicated on the drop box form I would be calling for an update at 1pm. I called and Ms Koehnlien answered. I asked what time could I pick-up my vehicle. She was extremely rude and smart aleckly with her answers to me and indicated my vehicle had NOT even been looked at yet. I arrived 10min later to pick-up my Jeep. I spoke to the Service Manager, Frank and told him what happened. He met me at the Body Shop at which time I spent @2hrs waiting to resolve this issue. My vehicle was finally looked at and I was called at home @4:20pm and told pictures were taken and I would be notified when I can re-schedule for my vehicle to be left @3-4 days for repair because the buffing did not work. I did receive a trite apology from Ms Koehnlien. Also, once I got my JEEP home I noticed 2 scratches on the drivers’ side and a dent on the passenger side. I purchased a maintenance package for $875.00 on April 7, 2007 from this same dealership and I still have not received any type of proof of purchase (such as a card I should present when I come in for service) other than a receipt. I will NOT RETURN to this location for ANY service related issues!!! I am a new customer to the JEEP family and if this is any indication of future service--I will NOT recommend JEEP to any family, friends or enemies. More
Went to the dealership and was greeted by an overweight, sloppy gentleman with a missing front tooth. Put me in a car that I NEVER test drove. Service department scratched the whole hood of my car while t sloppy gentleman with a missing front tooth. Put me in a car that I NEVER test drove. Service department scratched the whole hood of my car while taking off the plastic. Was told to go home and come back the next day so they could sand it out. 2 weeks later, I'm still driving a scratched car through no fault of my own and have yet to have the problem resolved efficiently. The general sales manager could give a xxxx and has been of no help. This was my first car buying experience and I will NEVER go there again and would NEVER recommend to anyone. More
