He said, “Want me to just bring it to your work to see?” Perfect! So he brings it by. Nice truck. I notice a few minor issues. I pointed them out. They worked with me on the price if I agreed to fix THOSE minor issues. So after work, I go to the dealership and sign paperwork. Then I go to leave, fire it up and hear a loud ticking noise. (Cracked exhaust manifold). For those that don’t know, an exhaust leak noise will go away after 10-20 seconds due to heating up. Which I didn’t hear when I test drove it because it was obviously warm by the time they drove it to me. I point it out. And I’m told, “well you already signed an AS IS contract.” Basically a “sorry about your luck” situation. I understand the whole “as is” stuff cause I was a salesman before. But someone blatantly got one over on me because that noise was loud and 100% noticeable. I offered to pay for parts and them pay labor or vice versa. Nothing. All they wanted to do was try to trade me out of that truck for a more expensive one. Not to mention, they had already sold my Jeep I traded in. So here I am now waiting for my truck to be fixed after 2 weeks of having it and paying for it out of my pocket. The money isn’t the issue, it’s the fact that someone blatantly knew it had an exhaust leak and made sure I didn’t find out about it until it was too late. I waited 10 days of not hearing from anyone before I posted this review on Facebook. Then all of a sudden I get a call from the gm wanting to “talk.” Aka get me to take the post down. I had an independent shop fix it. So it was only $523 I paid, but the principle. The gm kept wanting to push the “as-is” document. And said “well it’s an old vehicle with 100k miles. We’d prefer those go to auction anyway.” But instead sold it to me and profited. But That’s not the point. The point is someone knew this had problems and it was made sure to be hidden from me. All the gm wanted to do was trade me out of it. Said, he wasn’t going to pay someone else to fix it since I had taken it elsewhere. Which I gave them plenty of time to try to make it right. Spoke with 2 different people at 2 different locations. Fell on deaf ears. Also, years ago, we bought a van from D-Patrick in Evansville and in less than a year, we had to replace the motor. More
I had a good experience getting my oil changed. The young lady that assisted me was very helpful and respectful. It did not take no time at all. I will be back. The young lady that assisted me was very helpful and respectful. It did not take no time at all. I will be back. More
