Purchasing a vehicle from out of state I live in California, my grandson in Oregon. I wanted to purchase a “starter vehicle” for him. I had a specific budget. Found 6 dealerships with vehicles that fit my parameters. Made phone contact with each explaining my budget and had one request, the vehicle must be inspected by an independent mechanic, of my choice, prior to purchase. (Of course, I would pay for it.) When I asked each dealership if I could have the car inspected prior to the purchase, they all said, “You have 5 days from the date of purchase to have the vehicle inspected.” I didn’t want to purchase a car, then, take it back, go through the hassle of the paperwork and then start the search all over again. When I posed this question to David at D’Angelo Auto Sales the immediate response was “No problem.” I asked him to repeat that as I was expected the pat answer that I had gotten from everyone else. They even offered to drop the vehicle off at the mechanic if I chose one within the surrounding area. FYI - The mechanic called me upon completion of the inspection and reported only a few minor issues, (i.e. a headlight was out). In addition, D’Angelo’s was the only dealership who didn’t try to talk me into using the budget I had as a down payment on a new vehicle with a “fantastic” interest rate. Or, tell me that the vehicle I was interested in was a good vehicle but, if I really wanted a reliable car they had one that was “just slightly above my budget.” In conclusion, I’m not suggesting that all other dealerships are dishonest nor am I going on their websites to post negative reviews, they’re just trying to make a living. But, if you need to buy a car and don’t want to deal with “high-pressure” salesmen, then, give D’Angelo’s a call. Oh, and by the way, my grandson loves the car and it runs great! More

I happened upon these guys online, if not for the great reviews I NEVER would have gone to a dealer. Let me tell you, I am so glad I did. I wasn't pressured at all. They didn't try to talk me into anything, I worked with Dante' and David. They were informative and let me check out everything I wanted in a complete, no pressure environment. I got the professionalism I'd expect with a larger dealer but in a casual atmosphere. Truly the best of both worlds. All facts were clear and they were transparent with what they covered and didn't on the purchase. On top of all this... I got exactly what I wanted at a great price! I will definitely be back for my future car needs! More

I first found David in 2009 when I bought my Audi A6 from him. It was a beautiful fully loaded car that he was able to offer me for half the price of the same car new. It was a lease return and still under warranty. I drove that car until recently when I sold it with 113,000 miles on it. I went out to he and his Dad’s place of business again and told him exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a black on black Mercedes E350 4matic. I had time for him to find me exactly what I wanted. In a couple of months, he found the perfect car. Again, I was able to purchase a two-year-old car still under warranty and fully loaded with navigation, back up camera, keyless entry, sport appearance package, and more, for under half the price of a new same car. That is huge depreciation in two years! The only problem I saw was the stitching on the front seat was beginning to pull apart. He purchased the car, had it delivered from out of town, had the stitching repaired, and had the car serviced and detailed. To top it all off, he delivered the car to my home in West Linn with all of the DMV paperwork in order for me to sign and then he handled all of the transaction. I just had to get into my beautiful new luxurious car and drive it. The entire transaction was seamless and given white glove treatment. I couldn’t recommend this business more highly. More

Couldn't Have Been Happier! I'm not a fan of the whole car shopping experience. I walked into D'Angelo's and never once felt any pressure or like I was being "handled". Both father and son are straight forward and friendly. The first car I looked at on my shopping venture was with them and I left feeling good about what I had seen and how I had been treated. I looked at several different cars from several different dealerships and their sales people reminded me all over again why I hate car shopping. I have been very happy with the Volkswagen Beetle I purshased from D'Angelo's. The only issue arose once I received my license plates and the car did not have a front bracket for a license plate. I called Doug and he met me and installed one right away. I can't speak for the kind of car you may be looking for and if they carry it but I can tell you that their customer service can't be beat! More
