I had an awful experience with the service department Poor, and ridiculous lack of communication regarding the status of my vehicle. After leaving me a voice message regarding my vehicle without givi Poor, and ridiculous lack of communication regarding the status of my vehicle. After leaving me a voice message regarding my vehicle without giving me any reason for the call, I attempted to reach the individual and service department to find out the reason for the call. After one call from my wife and another from me, I was told the individual was busy with other customers and would get back to us. After 45 minutes without a return call, I called service again and insisted on speaking to the individual. When he got on the phone he told me he was very busy and would get back to me regarding the status of my vehicle. I requested(insisted) he get back to me immediately. He assured me he would. He did get back to me a few minutes later and told me my vehicle was all set and ready to be picked up. Why on earth would anyone make the initial phone call, request a return call, not return the call until I insisted on speaking to him, and finally get back to me telling me the vehicle was ready. Why did we have to make numerous, frustrating, phone calls instead of him simply leaving a message that my vehicle was all set and ready to be picked up? I just don't understand. This seems to me the ultimate example of the management theory of the Peter Principle. For those that don't know what that is, Google the 'Peter Principle'. More
