Tom is a people person. He gave me the price I wanted & I believe we were both satisfied with. I have had two previous Subaru's from Colonial & have always been impressed with the way the Murphy's who own Colonial seem to pick the best salespeople. Tom was no exception. I have had dealings before over the years with many car sales people. I have to say that Tom Deluca & Colonial Motorcars are at the top of the profession without comparison. I drove to Kingston to see a car across the street, which didn't work out. But upon leaving, I spotted the perfect used Honda Fit for me at Colonial Subaru. My family and I have bought cars here over the years. I went to buy a car today thinking I would get the same service from the past, WRONG. I'm a young looking 36yr old male who was ignored for the first 2 went to buy a car today thinking I would get the same service from the past, WRONG. I'm a young looking 36yr old male who was ignored for the first 20 minutes of being INSIDE the place. Little did they know I was a serious buyer with a wad of cash in my pocket. The sales person( I will leave names out of this) was nice and the test drive went well, it was all down hill from there. When the test ride was over I was left in his little hot office while he left me to send a couple out on their test drive ALONE! First off I should have had his undivided attention, secondly I guess being a young looking male means I am untrustworthy. When he finally came back to me I thought he would have some numbers for me, instead he tells me he was busy with the other customers and hadn't even started with me yet(about 20 minutes later). So off he went to talk to the manager for another half hour and comes back with a price of about $200 below MSRP and a $3000 lowball offer on my trade, pathetic. This high/low offer came after I had been sitting in the hot office for 2 hours having never even been offered a beverage. After telling the salesman both offeres were unacceptable as well as the service he said he wanted my business and went back to the manager. I waited another 10 minutes for him to come back and tell me they were going to put in a few calls to see if they could get more for my trade...REALLY?! At this point I walked and they will never get my or my families( subaru drivers) business again. I buy new vehicles every 2 to 3 years, this would have been my fifth new car buying experience and the absolute WORST! Another thing to mention, the lady in the next office was in a debate with her salesman over a bunch of extra charges they added on AFTER they made a deal. The salesman was lying to her telling her that they were the only place that has plug and play harnesses for her remote start and that everywhere else will cut her wires up and hack into things, TOTAL xx! This place has gone down the toilet DON'T BUY HERE! This place is a pathetic waste of time. More

They say they are a family company but they only care about there family i bought an 06 toyota rav 4 and 3 weeks later the transmission was having problems so i try to have them do something for me and t about there family i bought an 06 toyota rav 4 and 3 weeks later the transmission was having problems so i try to have them do something for me and they wont do anything they made me do all the work for getting the waranty company to come look at it and now i am paying out of pocket for a rent a car because they would not cover anything and also am paying a car payment on a vehicle to be in a shop for a 1/4 of the time ive owned it i am recently married with a 3 month old daughter and they dont care what happens with me and the car that doesnt sound like a family buisness. i reccomend anyone looking into a new or used vehicle go somewheres else More
