Everyone in the service department is very nice and helpful. Here is where I part ways with “nice.” Nice doesn’t contribute to the cost of milk. I bought this car “Certified Pre-Owned” just shy of a year ago. Less than 365 days ago. Not only was I told today that I have to replace the battery because it is bad, all four of my tires need to be replaced because of dry rot. Although I do drive a considerable amount, dry rot is not considered normal wear and tear. I have a hard time believing that there was no dry rot on it 11 months ago When I originally purchased it I am unclear as to the benefit of having some thing “certified” when less than a year later - you have to replace the battery and all four tires. Not the way I wanted to enter into my Monday and certainly feel more than a little okie-doked. Should have asked for the battery and tires to be inspected the day we bought it but I assumed the dealership would have considered those things and I trusted them. Mental note - I will be asking next time. More
