Service for faulty tailgate on 2018 Escape The tailgate on our 2018 Escape was not closely completely. It did not close tight; and ,as a result, I needed to manually give it a snug. The interior lights would stay on when the tailgate was not closed completely. I called the Service Department and spoke with Judi who arranged for my service call. When I brought my Escape to the Service Dept.in the early morning, the Service Advisor, Joe Klimek, was very thorough and professional. He took time to ask the appropriate questions concerning the problem and arranged for a courtesy ride home even though the Service Dept. was extremely busy at that time in the morning. He called when the tailgate problem was fixed. More
