Was informed routine maintenance would take 90-120min, but I waited for almost was 5 hours. Waiting area inside had no water or snacks and terrible, blaring club remixes of pop songs were on. I was prett but I waited for almost was 5 hours. Waiting area inside had no water or snacks and terrible, blaring club remixes of pop songs were on. I was pretty displeased and would not come back - too expensive and no quality customer service or upside. People I interacted with were perfectly friendly, but not having an accurate estimate time made me almost miss picking up my child and meant I had to scramble. More
When I checked in with the advisor I pointed out an 8 quart oil change special you had. She informed at the time that my vehicle takes 10 quarts, which isn't true. So instead of paying $109.99 I was char quart oil change special you had. She informed at the time that my vehicle takes 10 quarts, which isn't true. So instead of paying $109.99 I was charged $120.59 and it clearly shows on the work order that they put 8 quarts of oil in. There was also a tire rotation special for $39 that I asked her to add however upon checkout I was charged $49 for the service. More

It saddens me to write this negative review about Culver City Chevrolet. However, after having written to the General Manager of the dealership eight days ago and not receiving the simple courtesy of a resp City Chevrolet. However, after having written to the General Manager of the dealership eight days ago and not receiving the simple courtesy of a response, I feel impelled to visit Yelp. I have been a customer for six years, beginning with the purchase of my 2016 Chevy Tahoe in 2018. Since then, I have visited the service center at least twenty times over the years, receiving inconsistent service that ran from good to mediocre. In late-2022, I took my car to Culver City Chevrolet for service. I was told that my catalytic converters were bad and needed replacement. Along with a brake job and a few other minor services, I was presented with a bill totaling over $8,500. I didn't realize such a thing were even possible! Fast forward to two months ago. My engine is acting up again. I took it to the service center and was presented with two solutions: 1. take apart the entire engine and repair the issue for $10,000 OR 2. purchase a brand new engine at a cost of $15,000. I chose option 3: None of the above. Anxious and convinced that I needed to purchase a new car less than six years after buying my Tahoe, I decided to ask for a second opinion. I took my Tahoe to my local mechanic, who has serviced my family's cars for decades, and waited anxiously for a response. Two hours later, the verdict came in: I needed a new set of spark plugs and wires. Total cost: $500! Overjoyed, I green-lit the repairs and my Tahoe has been running smoothly ever since. What is the result of all this? I no longer have ANY faith in the Culver City Chevrolet Service Center to accurately diagnose mechanical issues and, furthermore, I am now second guessing EVERY penny I have ever spent there. The fact that the General Manager did not care enough to respond to my inquiry underscores the unprofessional and apathetic service of Culver City Chevrolet. I am sorry to say, but I will not be returning. They just lost a customer of six years due to apathy and negligence. More
