When I arrived at the dealership I asked for the sales associate that I had an appointment with. I was told that he just stepped away and was offered help by someone else. The salesperson asked me what I was interested in and I told him. We walked over to look at some options. I loved the first option that I was shown but the price was a bit high. I immediately informed the sales person that I was not intending to spend over a certain amount. I asked if that was possible with this vehicle because I didn’t not want to get my hopes up on something that I wouldn’t be able to have. That already happened to me the day before at another dealership. The salesperson said yes. That it was manageable. So I test drove the vehicle, instantly falling in love with it and it’s features. After running numbers and a lot of waiting it turned out that it was not manageable at all and I had to look at different options. Literally the exact thing that I wanted to avoid. While test driving a second option, I asked about some car features and if the vehicle had one in particular. He said no and went on to list vehicles that did have the feature. (Well, it turns out he was wrong and the vehicle does have the feature. Can’t help but wonder what else he was wrong about.) I was content with the second vehicle I test drove and asked to run numbers with that vehicle. Again after a lot of waiting and back and forth we agreed to something and I decided to purchase the vehicle. I already had a pre-approval check with me to pay for the vehicle. The sales person told me that the check was practically useless and that I would still have to go back to my bank sometime after the purchase to complete the process and have a check sent to the dealership. And I asked multiple times about the check. I was told something completely different at the bank. There, I was informed that I wouldn’t have to go back to the bank and even given a document with steps on what the dealership needed to do in order to deposit the check. The sales person didn’t even bother looking at the check or the paper with the instructions for it. How disappointing. I was finally with the financing associate and happy that I was closer to finally leaving. What was supposed to be an exciting time turned out to not be so much. The finance associate mentioned me having to take something to my bank and I decided to ask about the check one last time. Turns out the check was good and I didn’t have to go back to my bank. You can imagine my relief but also my disappointment in the fact that the sales associate told me multiple times that check was practically useless and didn’t bother verifying the information that he was giving me. My experience with the finance associate was very pleasant and fast. Everything was well explained, my questions were answered. After I was done with that I had to wait for my vehicle to finish being prepared. The associate that was working with me the whole time had left, but I was helped by the associate I originally had my appointment with. He was so helpful, put my temporary plates in the vehicle and assisted me with setting up on star. At that moment I knew I should have just waited for him to help me from the beginning. All in all , I am happy with the vehicle. It’s not my first choice but it’s a great one. The service could have been somewhat better. Maybe it’s my fault for not waiting for my original sales associate. More
Took care in for 7am appointment on Wednesday . Was to be called in 2 hours . Never received call. At end of day went and was told not even looked at. Thursday called as had again not heard anything and no c called in 2 hours . Never received call. At end of day went and was told not even looked at. Thursday called as had again not heard anything and no call back again. Friday no call again. Saturday went and car not looked at yet so we took car out and will not be going back there again. Looking for other car and will not be a Chevy More
