The first time I tried to make an appointment it was never confirmed. When I called back they said it didn't make it on the schedule so I had to reschedule for a couple of weeks later. I had been talking several days to one of their sales reps about one of their high-end vehicles (Aston Martin) they have for sale. After driving 6 hours to review the car first the car wasn't there, they reps about one of their high-end vehicles (Aston Martin) they have for sale. After driving 6 hours to review the car first the car wasn't there, they said the car needed some fuel, and that's somewhat OK, but it took over an hour for them to get fuel for the car. So that was a lie. Secondly, now that they see that I'm black I was told that I could not test drive the car. I was told it was their policy to NOT let certain cars be test driven! Well......I wish that had told me that BEFORE I drove 6 hours to their dealership! See my below email to the sales rep and management: I just wanted to follow up on my visit to your dealership yesterday. I thought the visit was both GOOD and BAD! First the good: The Aston showed well and was clean (which is sometimes not always the case). My initial thoughts of your sales staff were pleasant. The bad...I hated that I had to wait for the vehicle to arrive. I thought you mentioned the vehicle was already there with your other high-end vehicles. We spoke several times before I came out to your dealership, and I thought I was clear on my objective. I wanted to see and review the vehicle and take it for a test drive if all looked good. If this vehicle was NOT available for a test drive, I wish you had told me that and I would have saved both of us a lot of time. I find it very discriminatory as a 60-year-old black man to come to a dealership and be declined a test drive. Not MATTER what car it is. I left there and went to Beverly Hill Aston and drove a car with no problem. This is NOT my first rodeo of buying a high-end vehicle and most dealerships will allow a test drive without checking your financials or credit. I don't have a problem with either BTW. There is NO WAY you would have treated a 60-year-old white male like I was treated! you would have given him the benefit of the doubt! My objective was NOT to sit in the car and play the radio. I told you that I know this vehicle had a bit of a history being auctioned several times from coast to coast, so there is no way I was going to buy this vehicle without driving it AND having a pre-purchase inspection done. I tried to set up all of this BEFORE I got there. The fact that I couldn't drive it kind of tells me something is wrong with the car. I just can’t express how disappointed I was with the visit. Plus, you didn't even follow up with me after my visit. You didn't take me seriously as a buyer as stated above. But I will be sure to leave a review with the BBB and other sites listed on your web page. BTW...no one ever got back to me! More
