We appreciate your review and understand your frustration. However, as we explained, that Lifetime Replacement Warranty through Volvo does not cover any future oil leaks, but only the specific part or parts that were originally replaced for life. Unfortunately, over the last few months your vehicle has developed more than one oil leak which is not uncommon as vehicles age. We did cover a series of what if scenario questions about oil leaks in the future that answered for you. The work on your vehicle has been completed and we are waiting for you to pick it up. No, Charlie. That's not how it worked. Within a short few weeks, not months as I thought--my son clarified that the light indicating low oil went on again. It is extremely far fetched for you to believe that within weeks of going in for an oil leak that the exact same thing happened again. It wasn't months later, but just a few weeks later. He thought perhaps your guys didn't put in enough oil, so didn't say anything to me until it happened 2 more times after he added oil. Even a really old car that springs a leak like that doesn't turn around and get another one that fast. And this Volvo is not old, only 5 years at the time with 50+ k miles on it. So no. I get that you don't want to take apart the engine 2x but it was never fixed the first time. This is too obvious to argue about and I didn't appreciate your condescending attitude toward me. And as far as waiting for me to pick it up, my son said he did receive a call, but he was unable to answer at the time and no one left a message, text, or email for him. No one knew it was ready until I received this email. I have told him and he will get the car tomorrow now that he knows it's ready. I am so disappointed in this service. It's the first time I was unhappy with your dealership's service department in the years I owned the car. I especially do not like people trying to pull a fast one on me just because a repair was done incorrectly the first time. I loved my Volvo but it is highly unlikely I would buy another from your dealership.
