Worst experience I have ever had from a car dealership. . Crown Mini completely mishandled what should have been the simplest task for a car dealership. Simply order a new set of tags for a newly leased ca . Crown Mini completely mishandled what should have been the simplest task for a car dealership. Simply order a new set of tags for a newly leased car. Instead Crown Mini transferred the tag numbers from another car I owned, (which had absolutely nothing to do with the car I leased from Mini) to the newly leased car leaving my other car (a Subaru) with no tag numbers within the DMV system. It also meant I was driving the new Mini I leased with expired temporary tags. In fact when I complained about driving my new leased Mini on expired temporary tags, my salesman, Jacob Shively told me to keep driving on expired tags. I also believe that Jacob Shively and perhaps the manager Justin Parker had knowledge about this mixup for a number of days before I became aware of this information. I only found out that my wife and I were driving 2 cars without proper tags when the new registration card for the Mini arrived in the maiI. I am upset that no one from Mini Crown alerted me to the situation and once they were aware of the foul up it took days and days to correct the error. For instance, from Feb.14 until Feb. 24 there were at least 6 different days for someone to go to the DMV to correct the error yet no one did. Customer service does not seem to be a priority at Crown Mini.I am told that this is not the first time this has happened. What I am struck by is the lack of competence and professionalism. To fix this required me to to make numerous phone calls and to have to come by three times in person. Perhaps retraining of Justin Parker, Jacob Shively and perhaps Tammy Payne would be in order.
