There are no words to describe how much and to the extent that Bill Martin assisted me, he really pulled me out of a financial and emotional jam...So, here is the story...I recently paid off a 2001 S430-it w that Bill Martin assisted me, he really pulled me out of a financial and emotional jam...So, here is the story...I recently paid off a 2001 S430-it was not accelerating properly,so this week it goes in for repair and I assumed that it would cost a "bit", but when I received the news that repairs would cost more than worth of the car, I was totally freaked out and upset and ill prepared both financially and resouce-wise to obtain a new vehicle. I was in full panic mode. Additionally, I had anticipated driving my "paid in full" car around for a few more years at least with no car payments! But, alas, the "gods of Murphy's law" had another plan for me... So, my car being barely driveable, I returned to Crown to retrieve the key, and stood in the lot wondering what in the world was I going to do next. This is something a husband or your dad is supposed to be dealing with for you, and neither of those dudes are here currently! I had contacted other less than stellar car dealerships after receiving this awful news, and had planned to get the "dead" car towed to these places for appraisal, despite the fact that $ 3600 worth of repairs was still needed! (Good luck using that as a trade in) Long story short, between working my 12 hr hospital shifts, and having neither the finances or down payment and possibly not even credit to obtain a replacement vehicle, it was looking pretty grim. Then, along comes Bill Martin, who was sent to appraise my car as a courtesy so that I could at least have some basis for comparison...I was so stressed I finally just lost it and began crying, and was scared, and without a plan. He first ever so kindly offered coffee...which I greatfully accepted, then I spewed my sob story to him and he offered to try to "see what they could possibly do for me..." of course me being the skeptic due to the reasons stated above, I went to his office...thinking that I was just wasting his time and mine and that I'd better just hike it to drivetime or somewhere...enter Kevin Roberts, another angel from above! He began working on the financial process/lending aspect...In short-the day (and week) began as a nightmare and eventually turned into an absolute celebration of gratitude and blessings, somehow, some way, these gentlemen were able to not only get me financed and into a brand new 2012 C class, I was able to lease it! The best part is, I got to leave my old broken down tank right there in the car lot...without another worry.I walked out of that dealership a happy, happy, greatful customer!! If it weren't for Bill initially reaching out to me, offering his assistance and calming me with his friendly and professional demeanor...I have no idea where or what I would be doing right now, probably would have gone to a shady car sales place and driven off in a 2001 ford fusion since I was so discouraged by my situation...turns out I wasnt givingmy financial success and situation enough credit (no pun intended)...So, I like to call Bill an "angel from above", disguised as a salesperson...and Kevin Roberts, a financial angel from the heavens!! Life is funny sometimes, you never know when you are going to have the pleasure of running into angels on earth (and you dont have to be religious to get my drift)...and you never know when you will being truly cared about as a customer, and taken care of like a human being deserves to be. I know at the end of the day it comes down to numbers and money, but I can vouch for the fact that this experience came with a lot of kindness and sincere intention to help sprinkled in there...ok I have used all of the allotted space and then some. i hope you actually took the time to read this testimonial and consider this on your next journey for a car...whether it is planned or not. More
In several times for service/repair and have used Tom Potter since the second visit - outstanding "Service Person" who has a genuine concern for the customer. My latest visit to Crown the car had a pulley problem which took some time to get a handle on exactly what the problem was. Tom was outstanding as usual working with us and we will continue to use Crown Euro Cars and Tom Potter in the future. More
Fortunately Tom was extremely responsive when the power steering in my Mercedes just disappeared and I called needing assistance. He actually came to my house that Saturday afternoon to get me up and runn steering in my Mercedes just disappeared and I called needing assistance. When he looked under my hood, he found that an important belt was broken and told me I should not drive the car at all. Thanks to Tom the damage to my car from the broken belt was minimized. I bought my car here 11 years ago and have usually had it serviced at the dealer. We decided to take it to a local shop to replace bushings and to remedy a 'check engine' light. Big mistake! Though it took 2 visits to fix everything, Tom Potter and Crown did not charge for the diagnostics of the second visit. Their staff is courteous and thorough and their older car discount made an expensive fix a bit mor palatable. My baby benz will never go anywhere else for service again. More

when I got off work this morning I discovered my 3rd break light cover was missing, appearing to have been purposely broken off by vandels. I immediately drove to CROWN Eurocars to schedule an appointment with the service department, half way there I called Mr. Thomas Potter very upset about my discovery. He was very calming and reassured me that they'd fix the problem. Once I arrived and explained the situation, Mr. Potter told me that this problem has been addressed before with my particular model and I could debunk my initial vandalism theory. It was a huge load off my mind to hear that and that It was also covered under my warranty. They repaired the light in less than an hour and gave the car a "new like" washing.
