John Shaw went above and beyond my expectations! It was a Saturday morning and the service dept. was booked solid. I arrived 10 minutes before they opened hoping to get squeezed in but fully expecti It was a Saturday morning and the service dept. was booked solid. I arrived 10 minutes before they opened hoping to get squeezed in but fully expecting to leave my car until Monday and was actively looking for a rental car. John said "if you can be patient with me, I will see what I can do." I resigned myself to hanging out for a few hours waiting for the diagnosis and headed to the lounge. I was stunned when not 30 minutes later, John came out with a smile on his face and told me my car was almost done. I was out the door with my battery replaced (that's all it was) and even had the oil changed in a little over an hour. I cannot thank John enough for saving my weekend and the upcoming Monday (work day). I have been a client of Clearwater Acura since 2008 and wouldn't consider going anywhere else. I hate my car. I braced myself for a new transmission even while I hoped it was just a sensor. I showed up for the appointment with a laptop expecting to spend the I braced myself for a new transmission even while I hoped it was just a sensor. I showed up for the appointment with a laptop expecting to spend the entire day at the dealership (because that’s how long repairs ‘usually’ take, right?). I was out of there in an hour without a penny out of pocket! John Shaw was my service advisor and he discovered that my vehicle still had an active drivetrain warranty so the transmission flush and computer reset (which was all it needed) was free! He even lent me a coat because I was cold. There was fresh coffee, water, wifi…could have stayed there working all day but didn’t have to and I’m grateful! And I hate my car a little less 😊 More
