SERVICE I recently had my Acura 2013 RDX serviced here. I called and was able to get an appt within a day and a loaner car at the last minute thanks to John Shaw. That was great for me as I was planning a four hour trip to the East Coast. I have been using this dealership for some time now and have always been satisfied. John Shaw in service has been nothing but courteous, professional, and attentive to my needs. Above and beyond My sales rep Gillian Barnes sold me my RDX. At that time I left. Part of my dog's seat belt,in my trade in car. Short sighted thinking I purchased an Acura 12 mos ago and have had nothing but problems. So far, I brought the car in for the transmission twice, blower motor twice, and i I purchased an Acura 12 mos ago and have had nothing but problems. So far, I brought the car in for the transmission twice, blower motor twice, and it completely died in Orlando. I had it towed to Sanford to get it fixed. I have invested a considerable amount of time (with my brand new car)driving back and forth to dealers, stranded on the side of the road, calling and waiting for the tow truck, and sitting in the waiting room...a grand total of about 17 hours. Who's responsible for that? This last time, they gave me a loaner car for the time the car was being worked on. During that time, someone backed into me and created 214 dollars worth of damage. I realize that I was loaned the car under the assumption that I would return it in the same condition that I received it, although shouldn't there be some good faith for the time that I have spent with the issues. When I asked about them absorbing the 214 dollar cost, I was told that the manager, John Schnepp, felt I should be responsible for it. I'm 42 years old and probably will buy 5-6 more new cars in my lifetime. Enjoy the 214 dollars John! I guess I will go to Lexus or Infinity next time. Food for thought, future customers! More

The service was outstanding however now its terrible, my last two service appointments were supposed to be 2 hours and 5 hours later not even a phone call, then in the end they just wanted to sell me more service. My time is valuable but Crown doesnt care. My son drives the TSX the car interior is falling apart cracking at the seams and bubbling up in the back, this started when the car was only 3 years old and we had it replaced then, now its even worse. I just traded in my RDX for a Lexus. Never going back to Acura unless they change. More

When I go in for service he is always pleasant and never tries to sell me more than I need. When my wife had to go in the other day to check the brakes he explained that we didn't need new ones, they would be fine for a while it was just dust between the parts. She came home amazed because other mechanics would've just told her we needed new brakes. Brian has consistently been honest and dependable. I've even been there to witness him juggling multiple clients of other representatives who were out and he held his composure and professionalism. I'll never go anywhere else for service. He's the best in the area, of this I'm sure. More
Not taken for a ride!!!!!! So my usual "advisor" was on vacation. I was blessed to have Brian Bennett as my "advisor." I brought my car in for an oil change, and because of a v So my usual "advisor" was on vacation. I was blessed to have Brian Bennett as my "advisor." I brought my car in for an oil change, and because of a valve ticking noise, plus it was hesitating. I explained to Brian that I have an extended warranty now so I'm not sure how this whole thing will pan out financially for me. Brian explains that for each diagnostic is like an $80 or $85 fee (I forget which) plus of course then fixing the issue which he would potentially call in to the warranty company. For the most part he says that because valves are under "maintenance" it may not be covered. Well Brian does the proverbial check around the car. He taps on the window for me to come outside. My car is running with the valves ticking. He then asks me if this is the noise that I'm talking about. I say, "Yes." He says, "Well, we don't need to hit with you a diagnostic if that's obviously the valve, but let me get a mechanic." I go back inside and wait. Brian walks in and says that the mechanic states that the noise is pretty normal for the TL and that its more an issue with a dirty throttle body. Brian asks have I ever had it cleaned. I say no. (The car has 57,000 miles). So instead of taking me for a ride with two separate diagnostic fees and potentially adjusting the valves and of course the valve gasket replacement also because they got everything apart so might as well; he suggests a fuel system cleanse. Well not only was Brian and the mechanic (not sure who but I hope he gets kudos or credit as well) honest and concerned about the pocketbook and not conjuring stuff up, the problem was fixed with the fuel cleanse. No ticking and no hesitation and definitely not taken for a ride, financially. No need to involve the extended warranty company. Plus, I was given a loaner to run around in. Must say excellent service from Crown. Most people have bad stories about car dealers and the service department as well as mechanics in general. But those are the few who mess it up for the others who just want to make an honest living. Very comfortable and very appreciative of the whole service department there More
