I say that confidently as he’s been handling my appointments for over a decade now and I’m on my third RDX. This time I brought in my RDX to John during the week leading up to the Memorial Day weekend for a pre-road trip maintenance check and oil service. John was wonderful about fitting me into a busy schedule and expediting the process from the moment he greeted me. He’s consistently thorough and professional as well as genuinely helpful and engaging. And all that paid off when right from start he and the service technician noticed my RDX was missing a piece of trim along the roofline. As my RDX is new, it seems there may have been a loose latching mechanism from the factory. Knowing I was leaving on a trip in a few days, John immediately put in an order for the replacement trim. Meanwhile, John wasted no time in getting my RDX serviced and amazingly had me on my way in just over an hour. I couldn’t be more pleased. Always dependable, John contacted me the next afternoon to arrange bringing my RDX back in to have the new trim piece installed. John was super organized and upon arrival the second time that week had everything set up to attach the trim piece. I’m so grateful to John and the service technician for all they did to ensure my RDX was in perfect condition for my extended travel plans over the Memorial Day holiday. I’m happy to say my RDX ran beautifully the whole trip. You’re fantastic, John…THANK YOU!! More

I’ve been working with John Shaw for years, well after my car’s warranty expired. Working with John and Chris (the mechanic) is such a pleasant experience that I starting being my Honda to them for service i car’s warranty expired. John has always conveyed very clearly repairs that need immediate attention and other work that can be pushed down the road a bit. With 10 grandkids and a busy life I needed a vehicle with more room. I just did not want to deal with a “car salesperson experience”, I dreaded even walking on to a car showroom floor. I finally did what I had to do and showed up at Crown Acura in Clearwater. Evan Lantry introduced my husband and I to Bill Knopke. There was no pressure to buy and no fast talk. Bill was knowledgeable, answered my questions, showed me some SUV’s and explained the differences. He was very professional and patience as I needed to sell my 1996 Integra first, that took almost 2 weeks. Bill kept in contact with me, still giving me more and more information about the RDXs. It took several trips to Crown Acura for me to really make up my mind. I purchased my perfect SUV on 04/15/2025. This was such a fun and wonderful experience. On our visits to the showroom Evan Lantry always made a point to ask if he could assist in anyway, answer any questions or anything. We were always offered coffee too! We love coffee! Once we made a decision, Jay Rudio prepared all the financial and necessary paperwork. He was very professional and efficient. He explained each and every document we signed. We appreciated that. Jeremy Stebbins was prompt in getting in contact with me to schedule the 9H Ceramic Coating. He worked with me, as we had some conflict in available days, to bring our RDX in for the coating process. He also was professional and courteous and helpful. All in all, buying this vehicle from Crown Acura was a fantastic and enjoyable experience. Over the years we have heard some terrible experiences from friends and family who visited other car dealers. I had a great experience at Crown Acura thanks to Gillian Barnes. We had a very short window to buy our daughter a car for her 18th birthday. We had gone to several dealerships and couldn’t find what we were Barnes. We had a very short window to buy our daughter a car for her 18th birthday. We had gone to several dealerships and couldn’t find what we were looking for. The selection of cars and warranty provided at Crown Acura was beyond what I had seen at other dealerships. When I called about a specific car and stated that it could take us a while to get there with traffic, Gillian Barnes insisted we stop in and offered to stay late to show us the vehicle. She took her time to share details about the car and answer our questions. We ended up buying the car that night and she ensured it was washed, although many had already left for the night. Her genuine care, patience and customer service skills went above and beyond our expectations. And our daughter freaked out when we surprised her with her new car! ❤️ More
