I walked into the the Crown Acura dealership unannounced to set up a date for a couple of minor recalls on my out of warranty 2005 TL. I also asked about having routine service performed on my transmission, to set up a date for a couple of minor recalls on my out of warranty 2005 TL. I also asked about having routine service performed on my transmission, having a funky trunk latch looked at and having their body work tech give me a quote on some minor chips and dings that neded attention. The customer service rep, James Fiden, coordinated all of those services to be completed starting that very day and had my car ready for me about 24 hours later. He was nice enough to arrange for a loaner that made it all possible. I was given a firm quote before work started on my car which was nice for a change. My car was even washed prior to me picking it up. This was by far the best experience I have ever had at any dealership. I would not hesitate at all in recommending Crown Acura to anyone who needs to have their Acura serviced. More

Crown Acura in Richmond, VA service department is above and beyond the best that I have been to. We have a 2007 TL, bought at Crown. I took it in for an oil change and a couple of other odds and ends. They always do a checkup on the vehicle and found that my battery wasn't firing correctly ( I didn't notice this ). They replaced the battery under warranty. Crown Acura is always looking out for their customers. More

I brought my car in for its annual state inspection and was lucky enough to have my 12 year old daughter join me. First, let me start off stating that all of the Crown Acura Service folks I have worked wi was lucky enough to have my 12 year old daughter join me. First, let me start off stating that all of the Crown Acura Service folks I have worked with are great; Mary, James and Gary. Gary Simpkins is usually the service person that greets me when I bring my car for service. For this service appointment, an annual state inspection, Gary was there once again. Gary is wonderful! He always has a simile, remembers me (and my daughter), my car and makes sure I am well taken care of either with a loaner car or just simply waiting in the lounge. During our time in the lounge to have our inspection performed, Gary made sure to touch base several times to make sure we had everything we needed and to advise as to the status of the vehicle. Received the vehicle back beautifully washed with tiers dressed! A++! Thanks Gary - See you next time! More
My husband and I purchased a 2001 MDX while living in Chesapeake. When we moved here in 2003, I dreaded establishing a relationship with a different dealer. Since my car was bought new, all the work done to it had been done at the dealership. Mike answered the phone in the service department and has taken care of us ever since! He is on my speed dial, and if I call with an issue he schedules an appointment for me immediately. This time I needed an oil change and wiper blade inserts. After traveling over the holidays, my husband noticed the car was pulling and might need an alignment, too. Actually, there was a nail in the tire and it was quickly repaired and ready to go! When it's time to buy a new car, we know it will be an Acura so that we can continue getting such excellent service! Kudos to Mike and James Pigg who serviced my car with such expertise! More
It is my sincere pleasure to give you extremely positive feedback regarding my recent experience at Crown Acura. I needed a transmission replacement which would have cost me approx. $3600+, but because of feedback regarding my recent experience at Crown Acura. I needed a transmission replacement which would have cost me approx. $3600+, but because of the great team at Crown I only paid half that due to a split with Acura Corporation. Particularly, James Fiden went to bat for me and saw that Acura higher headquarters heard my case. Without his honest work ethic and dedication to excellent customer service, I may have been forced to get rid of the car! So please give James my highest regards and Crown Acura has earned an Acura owner for life! More
I recently took my 2004 MDX to Crown Acura for the 105K mile service. Mike was friendly and helpful(as usual)and got me in and out quickly and efficiently. I purchased a 2009 Acura TSX December 2009 from Crown Acura. From day one, I noticed a pinging sound coming from the engine and an incessant rattle coming from the passenger's side. After numerous trips Acura. From day one, I noticed a pinging sound coming from the engine and an incessant rattle coming from the passenger's side. After numerous trips to the dealership and contacting Acura corporate, a Technical Service Bulletin was finally released regarding the pinging issue it was corrected. To this day, the rattle remains. I have visited the dealer at least 5 times for the issue and they have yet to correct it - in spite of riding with numerous techs for "test drives" and having each one personally identify the sound. I really want the issue corrected, but I hesitate each time I go in for a warranty-related issues because each "courtesy car" I have received with the exception of one has been filthy. It is great that they provide loaner cars (this was actually one of the reasons I chose Crown); however, they really should institute some sort of cleaning schedule. I was downright embarrassed one day when I took colleagues out to lunch in the loaner. They couldn't believe Acura would give me such a "nasty" car; especially not with "Crown Acura Courtesy Car" stenciled on the back window. I have also brought this to the dealer's attention and was told that the cars go in & out so frequently that it's hard to keep them clean. I have reviewed many of the submissions on this site for Crown and see that my experience is in the minority. I am glad everyone else seems to get great customer service from this dealer. I honestly don't know where I've gone wrong. If it weren't for the dealer, I would love my car. More
I have been a customer of the Crown Acura Dealership for 4 years. I bought my MDX new from the dealership and it is the only place I take my car to be serviced. They know me by name when I walk in the doo 4 years. I bought my MDX new from the dealership and it is the only place I take my car to be serviced. They know me by name when I walk in the door and treat me like royalty. From the lovely waiting area, the kids area I have used when I needed my children to be with me for an oil change, or major service, they always either get me in and out quickly or have a FREE loaner at my disposal. These folks really take care of the customer. Great experience! I don't dread having service done, I look forward to it as "down time" in a relaxing environment.
