I found this car on the internet and called to get more details on the car. I spoke with Aaron who was one of the most helpful people I ran across while searching for a used car. I was promised 2 sets of keys and I only received one. very friendly salesmen in parking lot...not pushy but helpful. Mr. barfield was very helpful and friendly...we sent out granddaughter to get a new mustang the same day and he was so helpful o her also. helpful. I went in for a oil change at around 1130 a.m. on a weekday. I was a "walk in" so I asked if they could do it. I was told everyone was going to lunch and thye would be back at 1:00 and could do it then weekday. I was a "walk in" so I asked if they could do it. I was told everyone was going to lunch and thye would be back at 1:00 and could do it then. I asked "do you need my name or do I need to make an appointment?" I was told NO we dont have anything scheduled this afternoon just come in then and we will get you done. I left and come back about 12:50. I was checked in by a female and told her just as I mentioned above. Everything appeared to be in order. I went and sat in the waiting area and could see my vehicle just sitting outside. About thirty minutes or so later my vehicle was moved and backed into a space about twenty feet from where I parked it. I waited awhile longer and finally went back to the desk (about 1:40). The guy there stated "we got you done I am just waiting for your paperwork". I told him I didnt think my oil had been changed as my truck had never been taken back into the garage area. He then went into the back and confirmed what I said that it had not been done. By this time its almost 2:00 and I had been there over an hour. All I got was an imaginary oil change and to read some outdated magazines while I sat there. I told him to give me my keys and I left LUMBERTON FORD for the last time. The questions I have are 1-Why does the entire service staff eat lunch at the same time and shut the place down? 2-If I hadnt watched my vehicle would I have paid for a oil change I never got? Wow!! More
